Actually you're half right. NewFound Road did record it but they are not the original. My grandpa wrote the song. He was in a group with Randy Fox's dad Paul, called "The First Southern Quartet" and they were out of Richmond, Indiana. Also in that group was Kelly Caudill. Tim Caudill's dad. Tim was the original bass player for NewFound Road.
