Nice setup! I am tossing around building my first bass rod. If you don't mind me asking how much was the investment for all of the tools and parts for the rod? Thank you, you gave me confidence!! the gold adds a bit of contrast, very good work!! keep them coming!!
Thanks for the comment! The initial startup is a bit pricey I will admit. I spent around 240-260 for all the equipment, tools, blank, handles, rod guides, and epoxy etc. to build my first rod. However, I am working on a higher end rob blank currently and I can say I am seeing bigger savings since I already have most of the equipment/tools to finish my second rod. I think in the long run you will save money and it’s really cool to be able to build any rod the way you want. I’d definitely encourage you to build your own, and best of luck in doing so. Let me know how it comes out!
For my first build I got everything through mudhole.com or getbitoutdoors.com. However Ud recommend finding a builder that is a supplier, that way eliminates any “guessing” for sizing of components
Phenomenal craftsmanship. Respect 🫡
You’ve made me want to try doing my own. I’ve watched others, but I still had many questions. This filled in the gaps. Thank you!

What hand wrapping set up are you using?
Is that the mudhole cbr hand wrapper? Can you put extensions on that one to move your thread carriage?
Great video man, where did you purchase all of your products you need?

@@catchingzzzsoutdoors1872 Thank you. Is there a formula for the spacing of the eyes?
Cool
The top of your guide should line up at your mark on the rod
you should have found the spine of the rod prior to installing the reel seat ........
Pembangunan batang yang sangat bagus, saya sangat menghargai cara anda membangun batang
you forgot to set your guides by deflection
