I began hoping brown would win. When brown died, I switched to purple. Seeing purple win because of brown was one of the greatest things ive ever witnessed. When I first started watching this Algicosathlon my favorite color was purple. I've almost always chosen the color purple throughout the 13 years of my life, so I thought picking something different for a change would be cool. I picked yellow since it was farthest from purple on the color spectrum and chose orange, green, and lime as backups. I cheered for all of them so hard while enjoying this whole experience. As the contestants narrowed down I had a thought: "Imagine if purple won". Now here I am, sitting in ironic shock while giggling. Props to you for making this, and all the drawings plus animated tidbits.

I backed Green from the start...the excavation really did him dirty. Navy messed him up a few times as well, even in the finale. But once Green was out I was pulling for Purple, so I'm glad they won. But still...I wish it had been Green. Also can we talk about how hard Tan tried in the finale? That dude survived three crashes. I guess he wanted to make up for his humiliating early exit.
For a tan supporter, it's an absolutely incredible feeling to know that even though he was out so quickly, along with his mate Cyan, they both got to show off their potential before the day was done, and on the same team too! Tan's flip at 6:21 Cyan's insane acrobatics at 6:48 and Tan's recovery at 5:50 sent my heart into arrhythmia but they were both spectacular, love you tan!
I was purple all the way as well, and, honestly I really don't care that you're saying this in 2018, because so am I and plenty of the other commentators.
I know these videos are years old, but I just now watched them and I am so happy that my color came first. I indtinctively picked purple right away, without even seeing all of them. I was even quite regretful at some points because purple was nearly losing. However for some reason I am very happy that my color won even though none of this matters. I should probably go study for finals now.

This was... such a journey. While I'm happy for all the contestants, yellows loss holds a large part of me in sorrow. I'm still glad that in a one on one race purple would die before yellow, and i rest easy knowing this.

Purple is the ultimate underdog story. From being last in the first season and nearly being eliminated, Purple really did pull an underdog win.
I know these videos are years old, but I just now watched them and I am so happy that my color came first. I indtinctively picked purple right away, without even seeing all of them. I was even quite regretful at some points because purple was nearly losing. However for some reason I am very happy that my color won even though none of this matters. I should probably go study for finals now.
