2:07 the fact that the pilot thinks that he lost one of the gunners, and that the gunner is still alive and kicking and switches to the right side waist 50 cal. At the perfect time is so awesome
Jesus Christ, the music editing feels like it is tied directly to the gameplay, it feels so much more immersive than it already was and the energy is PUMPING! DUHN DUHN, DUHN DUH DUH DUH DUH DUHN DUHN!
That's because it is tuned to the gameplay! I just played this mission and I fired the guns to the beat just to add that extra "oomphf" Another good track like this is the song from the final battle in the matrix revelations with agent Smith & Neo
Oh my God, this drums kicked in so hard. Love it. Also like the transition to the side turret at 1:57: * Plane got hit, short stun, music calmes down. * Character switches to the side turret " Ah, shit, here we go again" * Drums kick in even harder
Download this game for literally just this, Heart of the Reich as well as The Reichstag absolute bliss bruh, how are they this fun compared to some newer titles?
Touching down on the water is genuinely when the game can get overwhelming. Never have I seen the chaos of battle replicated to this degree in a game. The screaming men begging for help, kamikaze all around, ships blowing up, PT boats and fighter jets shooting at you and the men in the water, and that bomb ass soundtrack barely drowning out the orders being barked at you. All of this while you have to hit your shots or you’re dead. I love this game…
I love it when someone takes the Doom OST technique of making the soundtrack directly linked with the ganeplay, and applying it to different contexts like CoD WAW. Great stuff!
I love how this game made you feel like a soldier being ordered to take out the pt boats and save whatever's left of your comrades instead of trying to be heroic the music starts off fast paste then slows down indicating that you could die at any moment if you're not accurate with the guns on the plane
Great workout music. Personally I find motivating heavy weapons firing mixed with Sean Murray's masterpiece, while doing squats and bench press. Keep up with remixing CoD's soundtracks.
I’m so torn with this. I want it so bad, I can only imagine the gruesome nature and gorey glory of a remastered CoD WaW but modern gaming is so shit and rarely fun past the first play through I’m worried they’ll ruin it. It’s not like Activision and them have done a good job in maintaining our trust
This mission was amazing, and now, with this amazingly sync up, it is perfect. The attention to detail is to perfect, even the smallest things. Did any of you notice how our guy flinches slightly at the end when making his way to the front torrent one last time, as the Zero's fire on them?
I remember trying to recreate this in ravenfield and men of war AS2 with certain mods, only problem is in ravenfield if you get shot 2.5 times with a 22. Your whole bomber warps straight to hell, forget crashing and drowning, still pretty cool absolutely love it, but i personally like it when the bit that sounds like the cannons comes on while your moving around the aircraft, sounds like bullets hitting the plane too me
It wasn't like that in the game, but it sure did feel like that. I played cod5 when i was a kid ( and too young acording age rating) and this was one of the missions that liked but couldn't pin point why exactly, especially when you compare with Vendetta, for example.(i knew exactly why i LOVED the idea of urban partizan in a partly occupied city) . Now understand why I thought Black Cats were cool.
Judging from the controller prompt, this is the PS3 version of CODWAW. PC version of CODWAW have much more flater lighting thats why they looked different and not as good.
@@John_winston sorry I was wrong, this is the XBOX360 version but my point still remains, console version had more polished graphics than PC version. PC version didnt even get the slow motion at the end of this mission where those planes saved the Black Cat.
Back when cod didn’t have cringy voice lines and all the characters think they are on SNL. Old cod made you feel like a regular soldier that was just fighting to stay alive. I miss when cod actually gave a crap
For real, the only day when CODs games were made very seriously and accurate to the history (including the gore, accurate time weapon, and a war crimes even included to the game)
@@KLKV1040the devs and companies seemed to respect the time period and setting war is terrible and should be shown with no holding back. War stories need to show how gruesome it is to take a life and the affect it has on you and others (like the Russian side of the story where the pvt had a journal and it would change with the actions you take on how relentless you were or forgiving.) I like realistic feeling stories in games with good gameplay which WAW almost nails perfectly

The music composition here now makes Laughlin sound genuinely distraught of why merchant ships would be caring this much firepower.
Gave me the chills💪
Gets shellshock from a flak gun. Gets up. Mans 50 and begins dishing payback in pissed off frustration.

Pilot: Heads up this is our last pass
Begins to sound the best beat ever made in a call of duty game
3:28 the .50cal snycs with the music realy shows that black cats is the best mission and ost ever
they all be .30s
@@jaydeleon8094 the front and bottom are M1919's while the sides are M2 Browning's
they are m3 30's not 1919s. and yeah they did get the side turrets wrong and put them as .50s.@@hx20games77

TAKE OUT THOSE FUCKING PT BOATS!
WHAT ARE MERCHANT SHIPS DOING WITH THAT MUCH FIREPOWER?!
"Take out those fucking PT boats!, they're our biggest threat right now!."
"This is getting too risky, should we abort?".
"Negative, we can do this!".
I regularly find myself redownloading the game for just this one mission, why cant we get anything this fun in the new cods?
agreed. one of the greatest missions in the entire series
If not the greatest out of all I have played

You've managed to synergize the beat to the level even better than Sean Murray did with the original. Amazing

This is definitely the best turret section of any late 00's/early 10's FPS, probably because it doesn't feel like a turret section.
The flinch your character does in 9:15 is such a cool detail.
With how much attention your Black Cats remix was doing, I knew something like this was going to happen.
it's so fucking visceral whenever the big taiko drums come in
the only turret mission in a game that doesn't feel boring like a typical turret mission
I am blessed to come across this randomly
Nostalgia and great mixing. 10.10 would replay

2:09 very cool beat. so suitable for shooting e
Yo the legend has returned
Love how well you syncd it! One of the best levels of any shooter in the 6th Generation.
CoD4, CoD5, CoD6 and CoD7 is where this series peaked.

I can listen to this theme all day. Hope you do semper fi too👍

I can't believe there are other videos up of this level without music. It's the best part
Any chance we'll get black cats 10 hours mix?
Every time I see the Corsairs chase off the Zero I cry a little… It’s so beautiful.
In some parts when your shooting the music starts when you shoot in this video that is something that is so good like at 0:36
While I feel appalled by the fact that you felt the need to improve upon perfection I applaud your efforts this is fucking amazing
i was banging my head so hard and a smile from ear to ear while watching this, THANK YOU SO MUCH MAN LOL

I kid you not this music plays everytime I find myself in a confrontational scenario where I basically go from mild to full out combative
The video is so dark it looks like it was made by Zack snyder LMAO
I've always loved how they fly under your plane and yell at you to watch your fire like you're the asshole for shooting them but they flew under you

Yes, doing black cats justice with the forwards, spamming the 20mm
