The Philippine womens national volleyball team put up a gallant stand and almost won a set against Japan (火の鳥NIPPON). The Japanese squad won four sets, 25-14, 25-9, 25-23, 25-19, in the PNVF International Challenge at Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan.

The speed. Grabe yung Japan hindi pa nakakatransition ang PH to blocking pero sila pa-attack na. Revamping the PH's volleyball system is the first step to it's modernization.

I hope so too but the problem is this team does not include the best players we have and when the time they will compete internationally the players keep changing so the lack of connection/chemistry of the team is always the problem.
@@JTsuki true, like Thailand they have fixed players who will represent Thailand every game which improves their connection, I hope Ph will adapt that too. The Ph team always changes their players and coaches
Japan's fast plays push the Philippines to adapt and atleast take a lead despite losing the game. Filipinas has strong powers in spiking if they got good first ball. They have to train to become more agile.

you can see that japan national team is obv not playing their 100% since it's just a practice game and this is also a 4 set game (which jpn won all set) philippines is obv not a threat not just to japan but also to thailand. our players and the coaching team needs to learn from all these experiences that doesn't come too often.
They used their second unit in this set along with Mayu. She is the only starter in this line up.

Dati kapag mga ganitong game na dikit ang score at muntik ng masilat ang set laban sa mga powerhouse country sa larangan ng volleyball, ang saya saya ko dahil it gives hope para sa atin na pwede at kaya natin makipagsabayan sa kanila pagdating ng panahon pero ngayon na ilang taon na nakalilipas at ganon pa rin na parang tila walang nangyayari sa kabila ng pagpupursige at malaking atensyon na bibinigay sa volleyball sa bansa especially sa womens ewan ko ba di na ako nasisiyahan.
Kelangan ng grassroot development program na talaga. With no offense sa mga older players like Valdez and co., they have to step out na and give the senior slots to the younger players as they are more correlated with long-term programs.

For many years same line up, same style, wlang improvement, lagi kasi binebeybi ung mga players ska puro hype at pa highlights lng, mxado tau mabait sa players natin kya puro wlang disiplina, in the end we have ourselves to blame why napagiwanan na ang pinas pgdating sa volleyball.

Almost lahat ng sets ng japan puro fast and low sets. Kaya mejo late players natin sa blocking. Unlike satin na mejo high sets karamihan kaya nababantayan ng floor defense ng kalaban. Pero ganda ng third set. Konting exposure pa at practice. Sana wag na baguhin ang line up para makapagwork consistently players natin. Kung lagi nalang nagbabago players natin walang mangyayari.. Unless need baguhin tlga, like magpasok ng mga batang players. Good Luck pa din, Team Philippines. Kaya nyo yan.. Support namin kayo all the way.. ❤️❤️❤️

Wala ng pagasa volleyball team ng pinas, kahit anong gastos ng organization dyan, at kahit magpalit pa kayo ng coach na sobrang galing kung di naman mag lalaro ng maayos sa court yung manlalaro wala rin. Wala sa organization or sa coaching staff ang problema. Nasa player yan kung marunong kang umadapt at marunong ka kumilatis sa loob ng court.

Nagkaroon kasi ng balance yung team nung pumasok si Tots. I'm not a Valdez or Molina hater but mahina talaga FD nila kaya hindi tayo maka transition play noon sa SEA Games. Patay agad ang bola. Dito natataas ni Tots, Jema at Arado ang bola kaya pati si Paat gumana ang offense. Dati si Paat imbes na focus as Terminating Opp, tumutulong sya sa receive dahil shaky talaga first ball ni Aly. This game naka focus lang sya sa offense tulad ng role nya nung nasa Thailand sya. Maganda chemistry nilang 6/7 sa court. Better first ball, gumanda sets ni Iris at pati offense ni Tots, Paat, Aby, Aduke pati na dim si Jema. I think nakuha na nila ang formula. Improve na lang ang mga piyesa.
Gumanda chemistry nung nawala idol mo si Valdez and Molina.

Para sa mga coach ng team Pinas. Dapat nyong itrain sa matinding opensa yang mga player natin meron dapat Kayong option 1 2 3 4 5 o mahigpit pa. Kapag nareciv sa first line ano ang dapat na bato ng setter sa bola kapag naman sa back line kaliwa man o kanan ano ang best set para makapatay ng bola. Bago ang lahat matinding opensa ang pagtrabahuan nyo ng maigi. Itrain nyo ng maigi yang mga setter natin Tamang distansya at matalinong desisyon sa pagbato ng bola para hinde tayo laging luhaaan. Nakkaatuwang makita ang player natin na masupalpal na lumalaban kesa tatanggap nalang ng boljak ng basta na lamang. Ansakit kaya sa puso na maturingan duag lalo na Ikaw nasa sarile mong bansa.
