I tried it with a friend and we didnt get the activation it s nearly impossible and doing this middgame what a genius. The mortar activation is easy compared to it.(just wait 2,5 secs and than drop the skellies)
massi delawari really? I’ve tried both with a friend and this magic archer one was much easier tbh. The mortar one is so precise but this one is a bit more lenient, you just have to know which tiles to play the ice spirit and log

29:05 that was a perfect skeletons position because the sparky’s shot knocked the sparky to the canon otherwise if he played them anywhere else it could’ve pushed it self to the tower and also here 29:42 he used the sparky’s shot to kill the bats !! .. great gameplay by yerson .. edit : i know the ice golem killed the bats obviously .. edit ; i meant that he gets the most value with those positions like if he played the icegolem on top of the sparky some of the bats won’t die and get a few hits on the tower
Very nice observation with the skeleton placement! The Sparky was indeed one tile away from the Cannon and was probably going straight to tower. The Ice Golem was going to kill the bats either ways but he used it to distract the Sparky also which was a win win. Genius player indeed!
Korner yeah i know it did but most people would panic and play it on top of the sparky and it wouldn’t kill the bats but yerson got the most value possible of that ice golem
30:46 he uses the hog on the outermost tile and when it jumps he plays an ice spirit to which the sparky retargets to, allowing the hog to make its way to the tower uncontested

One of the best plays i saw was at 29:40 when yearson placed the ice golem on the bats in front of the charged sparky so that the death damage kills the bats. Hes too precise with his defense
Ash I think it's great that you're trying new video ideas. So many content creators covering all type of mediums end up getting stale and then lose viewership/subs etc. Its great to see such a positive person producing new content that's engaging even with a game that's 4 years old. Much love bro.
Awesome video Ash! I know it's a bit late but I'm going to summarise some key things to take away from this gameplay: 1) Defend at all costs, Especially evident in the matchup against hog is that you shouldn't allow any damage that can be avoided. At times Yerson puts himself at an elixer diadvantage playing hog. 2) Be Patient Especially with Fireballs, Yerson doesn't fireball lone magic archers or the lavapups. Why? as he can defend them in other ways. He maximises his fireballs often making use of the knockback. Ash also highlighted at one point where Yerson didn't immidieately follow the icegolem up with the hog instead waiting to see what his oponent did 3) Activate kingtower whenever possible A good rule of thumb in any game but especially important to have the extra defensive support here 4) Use hogs as your opponent is coming at you?! This one takes a bit of practice to nail. Often your oponent will have a defence which means you really struggle to attack. Yerson will put down the hog asap once the lavahound is placed and sometimes uses it to distract oncoming troops. Hopefully this helps some people. Have a nice day!

@@lightshader8731 nope , do you remember 1 year ago they did the same thing and the card was dead .The only issue with the cards is that it deals way to damage even if only gets 3or 4 hits on the tower. So crown tower damage reduction would be simple af so it will still on shot spear gobs and two shot minions .It sounds weird but it is simple.

at 21:10 he could activate the tower because the log was put in the left side pushing the magic archer to the right. after that he placed the ice spirit in line with the king tower. that way the king tower was activated. REMEMBER, you NEED to push the magic archer to the side. a lone ice spirit is not enough
Been playing 2.6 for a while. I would like to see him play against the craziness you see on lower ladder. Got put up against Mega Knight, Mini Pekka, Bats, Tesla tower, snow ball, poison, hog and musketeer. I would like to see how he handles something like that for reference.
skellies and ice spirit for MK king tower activation, ice golem to kite mini pekka and kill bats, cannon + Musketeer for mk if they use snowball then place ice spirit and skellies too. And if they use poison then u just activate king tower again, with cannon and ice spirit
Im in 5.3 k trophies lvl 10 with hog cycle with lvl 11 and 10 cards and play against max card and still manage to win but stuck at that trophy range due to facing over leveled players have been using hog cycle for 2 years. Yerson is definitely the best player in hog cycle now.
Those king tower activations with the ice spirit and the skeletons are maybe one of the best moves i have ever seen! They are right up there with the lightning block clashwithshane did in his livestream trophypushing using skeletons!!
And remember, he plays against the best players in the world. You probably won't face them, so ofc you can win this kind of match up if played correct. Yerson is a beast. Samuel probably changed account because I've seen him finish 1st in the world, if I'm not mistaken, 3 times.

I think a cool idea of a card would be some type of troop (maybe even a machine) that gradually speeds up as it moves along. So it would not be like a prince that charges it would gradually speed up as it moves along the arena
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure an ice spirit by itself could not trigger the activation at 21:15. I'm pretty sure the log was necessary to push the magic archer over so he was just barely able to knick the corner of the king tower.

That's true! I created my own deck: Prince, Lumberjack, Balloon, Graveyard, Minions, Zap, Executioner and Skeleton army. It is almost impossible to play against 2.6 hog. I FEEL YOU!

Could you make a strategy guide for a little less common or higher skill deck? Maybe a version of graveyard that is not splashyard, miner wallbreakers, giant cycle, bridge spam other than PEKKA battle ram, balloon cycle, royal giant, etc. It feels like a lot of people have videos showcasing these decks, but there are not many that cover individual match ups, and what a game plan would be (for example, in an RG deck, when to RG in the back and when to RG on the bridge).
I don't think the majority of people play against these decks on ladder, they usually play against some funky Wizard, Valk, Witch decks. This strategy guide is useful for grand challenges though.

Great content Ash. Im looking to use the 2.6 hog but which order should I prioritise leveling up. Do you look to get your main damage unit so the hog or do you look to lvl up the support first so maybe the musketeer or the defence?. Thanks for any help you can give with this mate 👍
i mainly play 2.6 hog deck myselfe about a 6k trophy range, and the only problem i have to play against is Golem lightning, lava lightning, elixir golem lightning, and megaknight decks. Basically any heavy deck with lightning sadly he showed none of these kind of replays....
To activate king tower against hog/pekka/earthquake, he used the ice spirit and log to position the magic archer so it can hit the ice spirit while activating king tower. Really hard to do!
Skeleton dragon: long range Spits out Skeletons at ground troops which causes damage, but the skeleton also starts attacking serving as distraction. As for flying troops it attacks them via the prince riding it, or barb. 5-6 elixir depending on health or if the barb survives the fall. Legendary
Nice video as always ash, I really enjoy more cycle content, but maybe flobby would be good for some beatdown game play. Also, I had a weird video idea, where you bring them on, and have the live create a whole new deck, explain why everything is in the deck etc, then play it in a gc. Oh, also do more pro v pro, but maybe have some of these specialists on. Egor vs Lemontree pro vs pro would be amazing

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure an ice spirit by itself could not trigger the activation at 21:15. I'm pretty sure the log was necessary to push the magic archer over so he was just barely able to knick the corner of the king tower.
These new video's with OG decks of a hr long or so of pros pushing ladder are very verrryy satisfying!!!
Personally play log bait and many other fast cycle decks... I have one request!! Can you get another pro push with the og pekka bridge spam deck.. I believe with magic arc!?

I think this deck doesnt need too much skill,just fast cycling to hog and play it at the bridge!
I know for pros this is defferent but in mid ladder u can easily push ladder!just try it🤗

Zap,
Executioner and
Skeleton army. It is almost impossible to play against 2.6 hog. I FEEL YOU!
Just one problem as a 2.6 player my musky gets 1 shot by fireball against overleveled bridge spammers
Yeah, I'm at 5800, at I also play balloon, but with no buildings. I kinda just rely on them to miss a cannon or musketeer placement to win.

The most strongest defensive card in this deck is ice spirit!
If they cant one shot it then almost nothing can touch ur tower!!
@@uniboy13when my tower have low health i always try to tower trade but if they're good enough they will cycle back to another musky! As simple as it is😓

Could you make a strategy guide for a little less common or higher skill deck? Maybe a version of graveyard that is not splashyard, miner wallbreakers, giant cycle, bridge spam other than PEKKA battle ram, balloon cycle, royal giant, etc. It feels like a lot of people have videos showcasing these decks, but there are not many that cover individual match ups, and what a game plan would be (for example, in an RG deck, when to RG in the back and when to RG on the bridge).
I don't think the majority of people play against these decks on ladder, they usually play against some funky Wizard, Valk, Witch decks. This strategy guide is useful for grand challenges though.

You should try getting Viiper or phatcat on they are 2 standard ladder one tricks like lemontree and kidkid and yerson

Great content Ash. Im looking to use the 2.6 hog but which order should I prioritise leveling up. Do you look to get your main damage unit so the hog or do you look to lvl up the support first so maybe the musketeer or the defence?. Thanks for any help you can give with this mate 👍

i mainly play 2.6 hog deck myselfe about a 6k trophy range, and the only problem i have to play against is Golem lightning, lava lightning, elixir golem lightning, and megaknight decks.
Basically any heavy deck with lightning
sadly he showed none of these kind of replays....
To activate king tower against hog/pekka/earthquake, he used the ice spirit and log to position the magic archer so it can hit the ice spirit while activating king tower. Really hard to do!
Skeleton dragon: long range Spits out Skeletons at ground troops which causes damage, but the skeleton also starts attacking serving as distraction. As for flying troops it attacks them via the prince riding it, or barb. 5-6 elixir depending on health or if the barb survives the fall. Legendary

Nice video as always ash, I really enjoy more cycle content, but maybe flobby would be good for some beatdown game play. Also, I had a weird video idea, where you bring them on, and have the live create a whole new deck, explain why everything is in the deck etc, then play it in a gc.
Oh, also do more pro v pro, but maybe have some of these specialists on. Egor vs Lemontree pro vs pro would be amazing
