Big game by Ireland but unsurprising really after their total domination of NZ. Terrible display by Wales! I can't wait for the eventual match between Ireland and France.

you can see why mack hansen got man of the match, his distribution was so insane. Take ringrose try at 60 mins. Ireland are in exit defensive set when instead of the box kick wales elect to carry. Porter strips the carrier and Ireland take possession. On the very first offensive phase Mack Hansen makes it all the way up from his kick receiver position to play second receiver pivot, and it is this that gives ireland +1 on the right side and therefore the try. His distribution is going to be an even bigger headache for teams prepping defensively. Ireland really needed a second playmaker/distributor at second receiver and it looks like a fit!

We have a forwards row that can play like a backs row which is something that an Irish team never had. Andy has given us the opportunity to play with confidence and flare built on disapline from the Joe Smith eara.
Gibson-Park was the key with speed of the ball. We'll be waiting in nz for the 3 game series in 5 months time

@Razor Mouth not really, Hansen had more metres made but Conway's stats were better across the board, tackles made, defenders beaten, 2 trys, rucks hit, kicks regathered.
Either way Jvdf was the standout player by miles.

@@joshuaperraton6748 which one are you referring to? Because the starting AND substitute front row had the upper hand in pretty much every match last year. The Autumn Internationals were men vs boys. Too bad they didn't play Ireland so see what would happen. I would say Kitshoff, Marx and Furlong to start in a dream team.

as for Wales, 7 key players missing from the first team, nearly a shut out like the U20 game the night before. Ireland were rampant, as usual but caused Wales a lot of grief with different options.
new players always cause havoc for defenders like Mack Hansen. Good to see Bundee Aki scored, he deserves it. Josh Adams shoulder barge was reckless because he was frustrated in the 1st half.

Considering these highlights are only 13 mins, it's a shame you waste the first 2 mins on nothing. Just start the video at the kick off or the first exciting passage of play. Loads good stuff in the second half was missed
