Ban phase..? Also they could just remove him specifically for secure area. Besides you can also punch him

back then no one had any game sense so ofc hes op, now atleast some people have game sense so you should know how to counter him
@@kdb0705 well back then you couldn’t melee his shield away and there used to be no ban phase. He was able to sit in a corner and make a round last forever
Back then monty would die with a simple c4, they added explosive resistance to shields later. Shields were borderline useless since most defenders would have a c4
Honestly I preferred the look of old siege, it looks so much better and less stylised, all the operators made sense, the game modes and its general vibe, in modern day siege its just...not the game I once loved

@GGwasEZ Gears of war 1-3 were great loved them a shit ton, gears 4 was...eh to say the least sure the style look new but it didn't hit the same and 5 was just...5

And the one thing many don’t even mention is old siege wasn’t optimized and thus had these amazing graphics where each model looked real with great use of Light and Shading. As soon as they optimized it, it turned into a cartoon.

a thermal sniper rifle that loses its effect as you walk, somehow
very realistic lol
I like the more dark and serious tone the game used to have. It makes me feel like I’m actually immersed in a real situation rather than a nerf gun fight with my friends lol

@@freezy2755 There is no pistol in siege that can outgun another weapon. It's an fps not a milsim, it's meant to be balanced so that the pistols are usable by anyone in a last resort. If you want realism go to tarkov bruh, and while you're at it do a bit of research to see why the devs don't make siege realistic. Spoiler: realistic games die fast and die hard because almost nobody except noobs and gun nuts enjoy them💀

@@dunkirito8308 Removing actual features and switching entire gameplay movement does keep it relevant. And I just got back into the game and like it. But it is extremely different now, same objectives but the feel and experience of the game is entirely different.

I miss variety in objectives because it forces you to play the game differently and utilizes more of the map. I wish they brought hostage and secure in ranked.
Secure area is fun until the last 2 guys take 30 minutes to peak each other and end the round

The only reason reflex and red dot never got used was because they were so big and bright
back when pistols had recoil. i remember buying an op then having to play a couple more games to afford attachments for their guns. the jager shield glitch, the doc revolver stim glitch, the castle glitch. OG clubhouse.
You guys remember night map ? Kicking people in rank ? Useless operators (Doc only being able to revive teamates from distance, Glaz useless red scope, tachanka touret only being a limited rotation and static machine gun, etc…) Old clubhouse (It’s been rework in 2018, 5 years ago !), the legendaries acogs on defenders (Jager, bandit, smoke, ash, etc..)
There should be custom games where you can play the old Siege

First two years of Siege were the best. After they took ACOG off the SMG 11 and added all this recoil, it died for me.
Everyone forgets when view loadout showed the players weapon charm
For the og op symbols they should use those for the little death marks when you die would be a nice lil callback

I miss how infuriating it was to get a shitty map, and lose no matter what. It’s ver contradictory but I do think the gun felt better back then, but I really miss the dead bodies and effects that made it look like a real battle was happening, then also the old lighting being dark looks so much better

On training grounds there were C-4 and Night Night Bombers
Hostage was in ranked too, sometime a round lasted only 65 seconds

E sports in all other games is great, like valorant apex fortnite, ect because they didnt change the game completely just to conform to be a viable game to play competitively. The old version of seige had so much more character and was so much more fun because of it, now it just feels like your everyday competitive game
