First Video! Just wanted to show you how I remove the New Era logo's from baseball hats with a seam ripper. Please also excuse some of my repetitive phrases! ;)
Well, to anyone who says why do this or doing this will make the hat look like a knock-off.... New Era has been making the "on the field" caps for MLB for many years now and they never used to put their logo on the outside of their Authentic On the Field 59Fifty model, until about 4 or 5 years ago. But they also have a line of replicas, too, that are less expensive (like 9Fifty, 39Thirty) that they've always put their logo on. My point is, prior to 5 years ago, the way you could instantly tell if someone was wearing the 59Fifty Authentic model is by the absence of the New Era Logo. All the rest of the New Era replicas have the logo, including other companies who make replica hats like '47Brand or even Nike (who do no have the license to make the "Authentic On Field" hat), has their company logos on their non-authentic replica hats. And to me, just my opinion of course, having no logo just looks much more professional and cleaner. ps. On a side note: Nike now has the contract for MLB's uniforms and they put their logo on the right chest instead of the left sleeve like Majestic did when they used to have the contract. With the Nike swoosh on the front, I think it makes the MLB uni's look like NCAA college uniforms. But anway...
every league is starting to take in more logos...NBA jerseys and now NHL helmets. I personally dnt mind the nike swoosh on mlb jerseys but yeah new era logo sucks, so do the nba/nhl sponsors
How do you remove the embroidery on the crown of the cap? Just picked up a cheap Yankees cap and want to remove the NY logo. Literally no info on how to do this anywhere
Thanks for the video. I want to remove the GSH logo from a Bears hat I just ordered. Love the hat but that GSH logo is a eyesore as I like my hats simple/clean.

Because those are grey bottom that being said before the black bottom polyester caps came about… these where on field caps (which never had new era on the side) so with the retro line of caps some genius said let’s add new era to the side
The logo doesn't belong. Players come and go, but the uniform remains a constant with the team's culture, and that shouldn't be interrupted by unnecessary distractions such as manufacturer's emblems.
F*** the new era side logo!! Though from a marketing standpoint I get it. I remember when on field hats didn't have the logo and made them much cleaner and classic but now I don't like it.

@@SM-po9wf You may can remove it the same way but it's thicker and more textured than the New Era logo, so I don't have any caps that I would be willing to take a chance on removing that without messing it up.
Many reasons. My reason, I need a good quality hat I can wear at work with no logos on it. But also, why not? You bought it, do whatever you want with it? 😂

This is lame and pathetic you guys realize how much money you spend on hats urine you're out these has cost a lot of money for new era these hats cost like between 40 bucks a year so you imagine about that add up a $40 * 12 months in the years times 365 days that's a lot of money and I'm not criticizing any one day once removed the New Era but your guys are wasting all your money by buying the hat if you don't want the new era logo I mean no personal no offense I mean that's just my opinion I like the new Era I got no problem with it any energy you guys it's part of the hat William Espino
