Question 4 is actually answer B) 300 feet, not C) 500 feet. Reference section 6.1 of the NYS DOT manual. “Do not park within 300 feet of: -A bridge, tunnel or building. -A place where people gather -An open fire “
Yep. I saw that. An was like man I keep getting diff answers from diff sources. Lol. But it's 300. I also saw another question that best of my knowledge is wrong. It said how many fire extinguishers do u need. Far as I know. U only need one at a rating of 10: B:C or more. If that's changed an I'm wrong will someone plz show me this. Ty
I've been hauling hazmat for over a decade and some of these questions I have never seen... Like the exhaust thickness?!?! WTF?!?! I have never seen that on a test at least.
I’m not sure that we are understanding the question right. Everyone here agrees I think that it’s 300 feet parking from an open fire or a tunnel. I think what they are asking is how far away you should get from the vehicle, caring hazmat if it is on fire. I don’t know, I don’t have the regulations in front of me, but that might be 500 feet. That’s not a very good question. Anyways, I expect for people to use their common sense, depending on what is on fire how far away they should get and which way the wind is blowing.
I got to 21 minutes in even after seeing a couple of questionable answers and now this "2 fire extinguishers" answer!? This is bogus information! The maximum filling density answer on question #28 is complete horse manure as well. Thanks for wasting our time on with this video!!!
Question 4: 2019 Texas CMV Driver's Handbook 9.6.1 (page 9-13), " withing th300 feet of an open fire." Not your "(C) 500 feet". And Question 31: 2019 Texas CMV Driver's Handbook 9.6.8 (page 9-14), "...must have a fire extinguisher with UL rating...." Not your "(B) 2".
Just a heads up, many of these questions are not part of section 9 of the CDL manual and therefore will not appear on your hazmat test. These appear to be review questions from Haz-Mat University
Already on the very first question Google said that 2.1 + 2.2 are the hazardous materials and this video says that it's 3. How are we ever supposed to pass test when none of study guides have accurate answers?
I took this test 3 times and failed All 3 .. yeah I know …there was always different questions that I never seen on test before or on the study materials. but I know for sure , I never seen any of these question on the test.
I'm really sorry to hear about your struggles with the CDL Hazmat test. It can indeed be challenging and sometimes the test might contain questions not directly covered in the study materials. However, remember the goal of the test is to ensure that you can handle hazardous materials safely and effectively under various circumstances. My video is intended to be a supplemental resource to help you understand the kind of questions that can be asked and how to approach them. I would recommend revisiting the official study guide and resources provided by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) or your local Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), as these are the primary materials the test is based on. Remember, the key is to understand the concepts, procedures, and safety measures instead of memorizing specific questions. And don't be discouraged! It's okay to fail a few times - what's important is learning from those experiences and improving. Good luck on your next attempt! You can do it!
This is not a legit pretest! The allergic driver question isn't on any of the 3 tests. The 2 fire extinguishers is WRONG! The 4/32nds tread depth is WRONG! Why would you even create this video? Question #28 is WRONG too! There is no "maximum filling density on a bol for hazmat. This test prep is a total waste of time!

Video was helpful. I was only able to watch half before test. Only miss 2.....out of 30 questions
Great job!
You only need one fire extinguisher in a hazmat vehicle
Question 22?!! It doesn't matter how much hazmat you got on, you BETTER stop at a railroad crossings!!!!
Already on the very first question Google said that 2.1 + 2.2 are the hazardous materials and this video says that it's 3. How are we ever supposed to pass test when none of study guides have accurate answers?
Well. All of 1. Is explosives.. 2 is flammable gases.. 3 is flammable liquids. U have to pay attention. To what they are.
Oh. An don't always trust Google. Sometimes it's wrong.
Many questions on this test is wrong! I suggest another test prep
Is quest 16 wrong? I believe we can have 2/32 on the rears in NH.
2/32 are for rear tires and 4/32 steering wheel.
First vid was great. How do we get part 2? It says it's hidden.

Damn boo 💔
If these questions weren’t on your DMV test, which study App has the exact questions?
I think question 14 is not correct.
From the DMV booklet, The right answer is 100 feet. I think you should check it out and edit that part.
does apply to the Minnesota state?
Yes!
22:04 This answer is incorrect. You need two 4 BC extinguishers or one 10 BC extinguisher. Therefore the minimum is one.
@@MyTestMyPrep how about Atlanta ga?
Does it matter? IT’s knowledge. Can you have too much of it

The maximum distance from vehicle at 25ft is Bs becuase from fuel pump to cashier is more than 25ft but ok lol
I was just bout to say lol 25ft ok lol
Does anyone know if you take the Hazmat written test first before going to TSA for the background and live scan or does it matter which order?
Do your finger prints and TSA check first, get your approval then go to your BMV for the test, then get it applied to your CDL.
@@1320pass Sounds good. Thank you
@@BW-kv9wj yep good luck 👍
@@1320pass do you have to pay for the TSA check?

This test is pretty lame. Some of these answers to the questions are WRONG and some of these questions have NEVER been on the hazmat test.
Talk to me why are they wrong 😑
@Blazen747 look them up in the handbook and you'll see.
Question 4 is supposed to be 300 feet
@@Geof505 exactly 💯
