La Himalaya guest house has been fully rented out by NHIDCL for their employees. So they don't let out rooms to tourists anymore. You can eat in the restaurant though. There are some other guest houses and home stays there but not nearly as good as la Himalaya.

To enter in Ladakh via Zanskar Rtpcr or they will do RAT at Kargiyak and in Khaltse heat screening test will be done… And after Darcha there will be no network till Padum bt as u cross Padum again there will be no network till Khaltse

Hey bro, I have Mahindra tuv300, I am planning this year to go from manali, zangla, padum, kargil to Leh route. Will my 4x2 will go easily or have to face difficulty. Last year I have travelled from Leh to nubra then pangong via shyok, then hanle via chushul, than tsomoriri and back to manali Leh highway vis sumdo village.
Hello Deepak ji, sure u can manage to cross these terrains but there are some patches where you have to be more careful so plan accordingly specially the month stay in touch for more information from March till November I’ll be available there so if any quarry do let me know anytime...
It will take time to connect maybe this year for sure coz locals told that still 7 to 8 kms remaining but that a very tricky part so let hope this year...
Sir, If we try to to complete the route from Manali to Leh only, and reach Leh via zangla. Is it possible to find a car as well as driver from manali ? the same car from manali will take us to Leh or we need to change some where midway ? Please suggest.
You can hire it from Manali and can travel till Leh and for further you have to hire from Leh if you want to travel towards Nubra, hunder or other places of Ladakh
Thanks for the very informative video. From Padum to Leh do we need to stop over or can be done without stay in between? We are planning in August 2022. While coming we will come via leh - suru valley side and want to return via padum- lingshed to leh.
Thank you Mam, if you start early from Padum then you can reach Leh in evening easily but all you have to do is start early and for lunch you can stop after crossing Linshed top that I mentioned in my vlog also that you can watch (LINGSHED NEWEST ROUTE AND NEXT EPISODE SINGELA) coz in these episode you will find the route as well as where yuo have to stop for your lunch. Hello Abhishek ji sorry for late response, actually we started from Zangla so Padum to Zangla is 30kms and nxt day we started near about 11 am and reached Khaltse at 9 so roughly from Padum to Lamayuru is 330 approximately and yes if you start early you can reach Lamayuru in time but 1question from Padum you will go to Leh or Srinagar
Dipyoman ji from Hanle take Tso-kar route via Mahe bridge and from Tso-kar to Debring and from Debring towards Manali and there’s another route which leads to Moore Plains and just few kms from Pang ...thanx for watching and if you are planning you can meet me at my campsite 🏕 at JISPA JOURNEY Gemur...

Hello Abhishek ji sorry for late response, actually we started from Zangla so Padum to Zangla is 30kms and nxt day we started near about 11 am and reached Khaltse at 9 so roughly from Padum to Lamayuru is 330 approximately and yes if you start early you can reach Lamayuru in time but 1question from Padum you will go to Leh or Srinagar

Afternoon ji, no it’s in Gemur Himanchal when u will reach Darcha then after few kms there’s a village known as Gemur here u will find my campsite 🏕 ( route is when u reach on Leh Manali highway then Moore Plains- Pang- Lachungla- NAKEELA - Gata loops - Sarchu - Zingzingbar - Darcha - Jispa and then Gemur )
