I love ground RB but can’t stand air RB. Skill is definitely a big factor for me, I just don’t have the hours in air as I do ground, but I just really hate flying for so long and I get to battle, maybe getting a kill, then getting shot down and sent back to menu immediately after. Arcade is fun being able to use a bunch of different aircraft and focus on just having a fun time

Actually D30 in Air RB isn't that bad and in some ways pretty balanced too. As a 109 pilot sometimes I am also afraid to fight against D30s even they are just D30 not H5 but they are still deadly if they can hit shots especially using tracerless belts.
Critical hit in tank battles: the gunner and commander are dead and the tank is on fire. Critical hit in air battles: oh no they took out our air conditioner!

As someone who basically grinded out the japanese tree almost exclusively on arcade until supersonics, AB has its own charm. Would I go back to grinding in AB? Fk no. But do I still keep the many lessons taught in it with exploiting even the slightest advantage, fk yes. The ufo flight model honestly makes it so much harder to dogfight since every plane performance is that much closer so energy fighting is much harder to do and you get to develop the eye one spotting how to take every advantage in your performance differences.
plus some of the AB flight models just don't make any sense. I specifically remember the J2M2 having close to or equal turning performance to a zero in the same BR range while also being quicker, better protected, and with more cannon ammo.

Everyone saying "but muh Air RB." I prefer RB, but I'll admit, some of the best times I've had in game has been with friends in arcade. Not everyone who's a casual wants the RB gaming experience, and I don't blame them. (P.S. I love the later p51h, good plane)
Saw a couple nerds talking about realistic. The only things realistic is good for is GRB, Arcade is better for air because you get more gametime/respawns, faster combat, more crew xp and generally a way better K/D
Committing a head-on with both the spitfire and KI 44 was unnecessarily risky. Personally I would have disengaged and gone for a rope-a-dope or slowly rate myself on their six and then BNZ them as that will easily take care of any overaggressive turn fighter.

I’m all for people having fun, play what game mode you want, it’s none of my business anyways. My point is and always was that naturally arcade is a simpler game mode than RB, it’s not a huge accomplishment to get 5 kills in arcade, where you have an aim assist, multiple lives, and enhanced maneuverability of your aircraft. In RB, this is 100 times harder and there are a plethora of factors to consider the moment you spot your foe. It takes supreme knowledge of your aircraft, your opponent’s aircraft, your heading, airspeed, and altitude as well as your opponent’s heading, airspeed, and altitude to win the fight. Not only that but you have to do this 5 times in a row, many times while battling multiple aircraft. I’m not hating on this content creator either, I personally don’t take any issue with people uploading their war thunder clips to TH-cam, I just have a problem with people thinking they’re insane at the game when it doesn’t take a good player to pull a 5 kill game in arcade off. Hell, I have videos of myself achieving similar kill-streaks on my TH-cam channel.

D30 is deadly in RB, just takes alot more work than in AB. The Mustangs in general are some of the best props in the game.
Actually D30 in Air RB isn't that bad and in some ways pretty balanced too.
