I have owned Sony A6500, A7RII, A7RIII, A7III, A9 , A7RIV, A7SIII, and currently own A1, A9III, A7RV. I owned the original Sony 85mm f1.4 GM and sold it for the better, sharper, faster focusing, lighter weight, less expensive Sigma Art 85mm f1.4 DG DN lens. Love that lens. The 85mm GM I is soft at f1.4 and is slow and noisy to focus, just the facts. For my A1 and A9III I just bought the Sony 85mm f1.4 GM II for doing 30fps with my A1, and up to 120fps with my A9III. The older Sony 85mm f1.4 GM can not do 30fps with the A1, and can not do 120fps with the A9III, its focus motors are too slow. For this International Award Wining Pro of 50 years in the business, IMHO if you dont need faster than 15fps, go for the previously top-rated E-mount 85mm, the Sigma Art 85 f1.4 DG DN and save some money. If you need a bit faster focus motors and higher frame rates, go for this new Sony 85mm GM II. Cheers
at 0:40 the blur fucks up a bit, and I think it looks pretty much like a sony alpha camera. but also notice that there is a little bump on the left side (right from our POV). So it has the body of an A9III. So I don't think it's an FX3II, but it definitely looks like some kind of A7 Camera. Maybe an A7SIV?
Can't wait for this lens..had my Mark I since 2017..and my work hoarse..finally gave out on me..haha ow wow..its raised 335 Pounds for you guys...oh no!...one of the good points I guess at least in the US..is that its the same price point as the Original release of $1798..so at least in the US you get the new technology for the same price..haha which is good and really a good option to pick one up even if you have the older version..can trade it in for something towards the new one..haha
The worst part is the quick comment on it not being a 1.2. Both photography competitors Nikon and Canon have 85 1.2 lenses. So this just comes off as unexciting. Being a little heavier wouldn't be an issue since the OG already had more heft than this, so a 1.2 would have been somewhere in the ballpark. Likewise with cost, these already cost a bit, but I doubt people doing portraiture would care about the slight cost increase (keeping in mind this is Sony's GM line).

He mentions "high resolution camera[s]" at 1:03
@@rnrnrkrk99400:45 he says a1 & a7r5 so that is what he is referring to there
@@rnrnrkrk994 There was a random Sony ILCE-7SR rumor with an 8K sensor from the Burano cinema camera.
