      He said Sampras best grass courts player of all time, interesting, I would say Federer.
      Federer king of grass.
      Nadal king of clay.
      Djokovic hard courts and overall

      @@nate9198 I think he said at that stage (the late 90s) he was the best of all time, i.e. before Federer had appeared on the scene.

      Novak is now officially The Greatest tennis player of all time with 24 grand slam single titles in the open era, and we all hope he plays tennis for much longer, and we are very lucky to have him as he is a Legend definitely the 🐐 Goat ❤❤❤❤❤️

      Federer is definitely the greatest grass court player, winning 5 Wimbledon titles in a row, now that's some feat in sport and winning 8 Wimbledon titles overall, definitely the greatest grass court player ever

    • @nate9198
      @nate9198 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@russelljoyce3588 yes no doubt, Novak would have to win 9 Wimbledons to surpass him, not gunna happen. Plus Federer has 5 US Open titles, Novak won't get to 5 either.
      Novak King of AO which carries almost half all his slams, Federer almost half of his for grass.

      A GOAT doesn’t lose 11 of 18 Slam matches to Nadal. And an Olympic medal on HC.
      Nadal is GOAT. Novak cleaned up Slams after Federer peaked and Nadal hit injuries

    Toughest player for Henman was Hewitt. He only say Federer because he has good h2h (6-7) and beat him in Wimbledon.
    He is 1-11 vs Hewitt 😂

    Saw a lot of your matches Tim, especially at Wimbledon over the years, unlucky in 2001 semi against Goran. Thought you had a superior all round game to him. You could have done with a roof! You played a great match against Chela at the French when you got to the semis. I would say Djokovic is the greatest of all time, most stats are in his favour and to come from a war torn country like he has speaks volumes for what he had to go through to make it to the top. Records are there to be broken and Alcaraz looks a class above. If he plays his best, I think he will beat Medvedev tomorrow and Shelton or Djokovic on Sunday.

    You cant argue with what comes out of a professional tennis players mouth " Tim ' who is the Goat 🐐 ?? " It's djokovic he says and gives an explanation . Nadal /Fed fans , can you scrub your ears out and listen to that a few times and let that sink in ? Nadal or fed being your favourite player does not qualify for the GOAT status .

    • @nate9198
      @nate9198 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think people are still entitled to have those opinions.
      Djokovic is the greatest player overall if you look at his records and head to head.
      But I'd argue Federer and Nadal are more gifted players and more natural talent. Especially Federer, definitely one of if not the most talented to ever hold a tennis racket. Much like Bjorn Borg.
      Djokovic is a master at strategy though and his consistency is unrivalled. The latter half of Djokovic career is where he's made the most statement.
      I think Federer after 30 had some good moments but was more magical in his twenties, Djokovic you could argue the opposite where in the last few years his win rate and his all round game has been better than ever.
      Overall yes Djokovic deserves Goat title.
      But Fed was a gift to tennis and on his best days was a special thing to watch.

    Roger won his 1st slam in 2003 at 21st age, when Djokovic turned Pro. Since 2003 RF dominated the game like no one did. Djokovic won his slam in 2008 but he has to wait again for 3 years for his next slam, because Roger & Nadal are still competing with each other. Till that time, he maintained his ranking below Roger & Nadal, because Djokovic is the next best player. After Roger started losing to anybody, Djokovic started winning slams slowly.
    Watching Roger game, feels he born to play tennis. slice, single handed back hand, mixing of shots, winning easy matches.
    Whereas Novak game is more physical, same as Rafa. Like, if you have to keep winning you need to work harder than other players.
    For me difference between Roger & Djokokovic , is like a difference between brilliant & hardworking student, both are getting good numbers.

      Do you have any talent?

    • @tanaseionut4251
      @tanaseionut4251 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Lets assume that you are correct and he was talentless. He still made it to no4 in the world so if he was talentless that meant he prolly put twice the effort to make it there. Talent its not something to respect cause its God given ... hard work to achieve something its 10 times more valuable and more to be respected in my books.
      Also that's why Novak Djokovic its not only the GOAT, he is prolly the also the player who deserve the most respect from us. While yes, Federer was without any doubt more talented than Novak - the work ethics and mental strength that Novak cultivated during his carrier brought Novak to surpass all its rivals and to end up being head and shoulders above anyone else.
