The "You look a lot more blond in your movie" line was a reference to how Daniel Craig was the first blond to play the role. All previous actors had been dark-haired. When he was cast, there was a huge backlash from series purists who saw it as a huge miscast and mocked him as "James Blond" and campaigned against him.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but in the Novels, didn't Bond have slick black hair? I'm not saying he had Because I never read the novels. But I Heard it somewhere.
Which was ridiculous because he was actually not the first blond to be Bond, he just didn't have dyed hair and this was the early 2000's where drama was a major staple of pop culture. They hated him up until a set leak revealed he was hot in the swimming scene. Connery was a bodybuilder in his youth but even when he played Bond he wasn't that in shape.

Hands down, the best part of this battle was the music. The switch of the music between the characters, especially at the end, was amazing. Also, I loved the way that all of the movie titles were snuck in there.
I love that both Bonds are just going at it ruthless, and Austin is just kicking back and having fun with it, and once the Bonds turn in each other he’s just there in the background with the facial expressions 😂

You missed the main part of the Q+Balls line, but it is understandable. In the book Casino Royal the villain has bond strapped to a wicker chair with the seat cut out and repeatedly smashes Bond in the nuts with a Que stick.
Sean is also saying his Bond would never let himself get into that situation. To his thinking, Craig’s Bond is inferior in skill; Craig’s Bond is a pussy because his junk is literally broken.

Legend has it that English POWs would get their index and middle fingers cut off so that they could never shoot an arrow again. Upon learning of this mistreatment, English longbowmen would raise those two fingers and use it as a "fuck you" sort of hand gesture toward the French. Since WW2's V for Victory campaign it's become less common to use 2 fingers up as an insult, but V for Victory and Peace are palm facing away from self, while F you is palm facing toward self.

Yeah, Golden Eye has got to be my favourite of the "modern" Bond movies probably also because Sean Bean was on it(the old/classic Bond movies are on a league of their own really).Craig is not bad at all, but.....he is a different Bond.

For the movies with Connery: there are seven, but only six in the saga produced by EON Productions (the one not in the saga is "Never say never again" (the "Thunderball" remake)) BTW, there also are two other Bond movies not produced by EON, both adaptations of "Casino Royale": one in 1967 (a parody starring David Niven) and a TV movie starring Barry Nelson in 1954 (8 years before Connery, who's still the first Bond in theaters)
The background and beat switches in this are my all time favorite of theirs. Can’t say it’s my favorite battle, but I think this and the Gordon Ramsey vs Julia Childs we’re the best as far as production quality. I think after that season they left the Disney owned studio so the quality went down a bit, but they do get better every year with their lyrics no matter what.

@@undertakernumberone1 I personally don't agree, I love both Moore and Brosnan, I thank Connery for his performance but I consider his movies too misogynistic to be amongst my favorites (the only one that is pretty high up there are Goldfinger and Diamonds Are Forever), I even liked the first Dalton's movie, but I consider Craig just as good as those first two, especially almost as good as Brosnan who shall always be my personal fav Bond.

When Connery was originally cast as Bond the writer for the books wasn't a fan of the accent because he originally had Bond as an English man however after seeing and hearing Connery in action fell in love with the accent and wrote Bond as someone who had a Scottish accent and wrote it I think that bonds father was a Scot

My fav is Casino Royal, Craig made one hell of a first impression and cemented himself as a new, modern Bond that we could love, while also presenting us with an intriguing villain, Mikkelsen never fails.

@@undertakernumberone1 I personally don't agree, I love both Moore and Brosnan, I thank Connery for his performance but I consider his movies too misogynistic to be amongst my favorites (the only one that is pretty high up there are Goldfinger and Diamonds Are Forever), I even liked the first Dalton's movie, but I consider Craig just as good as those first two, especially almost as good as Brosnan who shall always be my personal fav Bond.

My favorite Bond film is Goldeneye. Such a great plot, with the betrayal and the entire old Russian satellite network and everything, and what the villain actually plans to do with it.
Connery was in 6 official films but there was one spin off of Thunderball he was in (hence the 'you made thunderball two bloody times' line)
The British intelligence in the Bond movies was MI6 so technically Sean Connery had his 6 (MI6) now it is Craig's turn with the MI6. Great breakdown!!!

When Connery was originally cast as Bond the writer for the books wasn't a fan of the accent because he originally had Bond as an English man however after seeing and hearing Connery in action fell in love with the accent and wrote Bond as someone who had a Scottish accent and wrote it I think that bonds father was a Scot

I’ve been sleeping on this one for years, I thought this just referred to Connery being in six movies. But it’s also a play on the line from Dr. No "That's a Smith & Wesson, and you've had your six" that Bond says before shooting an assassin.
