I think any car is worth putting the money into if you really love it. I have the same year Outback and its have a speedo problem too. At almost 200k miles in almost new condition and still runs great, I'll probably do an engine swap when it gets time for major repairs
This is good shit man BUT I have a Canadian legacy how ever its in kmh witch is working great but I live in the US so I bought a mph cluster and the speedo don't work so went and got a totally different speedo and still same thing it don't work can you help me out with this dammmmm car, it's my wife's moms car and frankly I hate her but I'm trying to be nice guy
Also note that Cruise Control always works great, even though the speedo/odo stop working, so the tranny signal is not at fault.
