Quick easy tip that’ll help a LOT. Always go into raid with a headset. They extend your hearing radius. A lot of your deaths have been because they just hear you coming and sit still to wait for you! A headset would even the playing field.
Also, if you heard them, they heard you. Push the poor bastard that listened to you!😂

As someone who just got lvl 15 on their first wipe, your vids are so comforting. knowing that 1) im not the only one strugglign to play this game casually and 2) theres still a chance for people luck us who dont play every day, makes this game so much more berable. Now im gonna do a factory run where i get domed by a level 40 with a bolt action as soon as i spawn
Bolt action wouldn't be that bad, those dudes with mp7s are really what shreds me down at factory
Buddy, i have 1400 hours into this game(Since 2017/18). You dont start to feel "comfortable" playing until about 1000, and even still youre learning constantly. The stress never leaves. The jump scares when you suddenly get opened up on never leaves. The excitement when you kill a player, get all their shit, and now need to extract never leaves. But thats the fun. Enjoy the highs and lows and just have fun.
first wipe is always the hardest.
just keep playing. when i started i pretty much learned a new map each wipe. this was me when i started. just keep playin friends
hey friend, i have 2.5k hours, dont worry about getting domed at spawn in factory. it takes a few raids to learn the spawns, the dudes that are able to do that are beasts, and soon, you will spawn and realize "wait a second this is where that guy that killed me was last time!" and youre gonna go to where he went, and see a man in your old spot and you will kill him the same way. Happy hunting!
Its no fun watching people with 9000 hours. There is a missing sense of discovery or adventure that comes with a newer player. Love this content and hope you keep persevering in this game we love, it is so rewarding :)

Watching them is the same as watching cybersports. You watch better players to learn or to enjoy complex mechanics, you watch low grade players as you watch a movie.
support your smaller streamers then. instead of watching pestily plow through every map and mission, watch people like Halfman. Theyre not chads, but arent rats either. They go in, get frustrated at tarkov things, theyre scared of scavs, they take fights, they dont go in, die, then buy a 600k ruble kit off the flea market, they sit there and put kits together, mod their guns, etc etc. Dont get me wrong, i love watching landmvrk and them, but its the smaller guys that get my itch for tarkov going. seeing them struggle but succeed makes me want to play.

It's a small little thing, and others have probably recommended it, but when it comes to looting, I'd recommend changing your "discard" hotkey to a shift-LM click. You can hover over an item and shift-left click and it will discard. Works if you're dragging something over to equip into your inventory such as armor, drag the body's armor or rig over to your armor, while still holding LM, hit shift, and it will discard your item. Release LM and it will equip the new item. Also, ctrl-LM by default will move an item into your inventory or off your inventory to an object's inventory and alt-LM will equip an item if the slot is available. Hope the little tip helps someone who hadn't seen or known them. :)

Just found the channel, I was in the same position afew days ago, only getting BEAR kills then finally passed it. I think my biggest problem is remembering the extractions by name so I don't need the maps to handhold me. Great vid!
Lighting engine is weird in Tarkov. You may feel like you are in darkness, hidden in the shadows except for the guy who is 50m away and sees you lit up like Times square. That spot at 1:00 - seems really dark, right? Check it out from the outside, it is bright AF from there. This issue really concerns indoor/outdoor transitions so inside the buildings the lights should be more consistent (same outside) but it is not guaranteed. E.g. Interchange suffers from this heavily as well.
People push spawns. That's how you get the 11 seconds raids - by staying in your spawn. Factory has some really shitty spawns where you are damned if you move and damned if you don't move. So bear that in mind, you will have to spend a lot of time on the maps to learn their tempo and player spawns.
Do not use tracers if you want to be sneaky.
Setup is the most annoying unfun quests in the game (along with SBIH). 15 kills in specific gear on Timmy map... it sucks and blocks progress for Skier so people will focus on it exclusively. IMO it should be like 5 kills at most as it really turns customs into "everyone is doing Setup" map for like a month.
Agreed on the 5 kills, I’m on 3 after a few days as I find in my personal opinion ratting to be the most effective way to complete this quest. But off course thats by no means the best way.
Additionally It Doesn’t help with people being scalpers on the market place and buying up ushanka and scav vests and inflating the prices.
Setup is also just one example of some really poorly designed quests in the game. I may be an outlier, but the idea of "wear x while killing x" or "use x from this distance to kill x" are really unengaging quests that I'd rather pull teeth than accomplish. I'd like to see quests be designed in different ways, so maybe setup could be either kill 15 PMCs wearing that, or 30 Scavs. But I think the core design of it is flawed either way.
@@revolverclassic8248 the kill quests with specific conditions like SBIH, Punisher or Setup should just not give a fuck if it is a PMC or Scav IMO.

this reminds me so much of when i first got into the game over 3 years ago, the nostalgia is immense. tarkov if the only game that, despite constant changes and a new feeling every few months, you can still get nostalgia from seeing new players. i feel like knowing every little detail about the game makes it less enjoyable so being able to experience the beginning again through your gameplay is amazing. im level 36, and the wipes already feeling stale. i even killed zriyachiy 15 times and learned the mine clearing path yesterday just for the fun of it, i wanted those achievements.
keep enjoying the game however you please, keep up this series, ill be here watching every single new video!
Its my First wipe. Im lvl 32 now. I love the Game. Never a Game addictet me Like that
I am a factory main, and yes I am an absolute psycho. It's basically a poor mans labs, and when I was new I practiced PVP there (I just use arena now that it's out for lower risk) but factory is still super fun if you play it right. Also, AIM FOR THE HEAD WHEN YOU SHOOT! You're gonna kill people 10 times faster if you just try to one tap to the head. When you're sniping slow down, and aim like it's CSGO, rather than shooting 15 rounds, giving away your position, wasting precious ammo that is really valuable early game, and having to worry about follow up shots and the guy running away. (Run headphones too they help you hear shit better).
Encountering that trio didn’t end well but you’re getting much better so keep with it

Always, when your looking for the third on the red barn side of the wall, use the train ramp and slow uncrouch peek above the wall to see if your elevation gives you any vision on them. Then try the left-to-right transition of you see nothing. Elevation is better than peeking everytime.

Something that helped me spot people in Tarkov is to scan your screen right to left instead of left to right. A good support for this case is you dying a lot to targets to the right side. This is an amazing video man I love it ♥

3:38, Funfact: In the Veritas training guide, he suggested that new player mains Factory because that is the map that force you to git gud

I did this, it works but at great cost.
Well his main point was that to git gud you needed to learn how to win gunfights, and being a rat on high loot maps doesn't do that. That being said, his guide was made before Arena, so if someone wants to, that's also an option now.
@@capt5656 yes, and probably more reliable than Factory because there is still the chance that once you spawn in on factory, everyone just take that one fight, then runs to the exit.
I think for most players doing that will result in a quick uninstall of the game.
You are getting confident. That's good. I know people who can win a fight against a squad of five relatively easily. They too were struggling at the beginning. Like fairTX, he's an absolute Tarkov ninja.
My favorite thing is getting killed by players with obvious ESP wall hacks. And I got killed today by a 5 wall ricochet by a level 10 with a 15kd and 110.hours played....the cheating is maybecthe worst in all of gaming right now. Yesterday I got in a pmc raid, ran 5 feet looted some crates and all the loot was gone....
Try left shoulder swap when using scopes. It makes them a lot better for long shots.
You also need to be wearing headphones. As others have said it increases you hearing range. Higher leveled players will have a better perception skill which also makes hearing distance larger as well.
Lastly, bring heavy bleed stoppers, they're cheaper and faster at stopping bleeds than using a medkit. You can always drop them if you need more space. I recommend binding your heavy bleed and medkit on the same number so if you do want to stop your bleed quick you just press 1 button and not have to sift through your inventory.
As much as I love the ADAR...
If you can manage to tame the AUG A1's sights, it's amazing. The recoil is pretty much inexistant (which makes the sight usable in full auto), it has decent ergo, you literally can't mod it, it's something like 400 / 500$ from Peacekeeeper.
The sights are a bit weird in long distance shots, but still usable, and you need PK2 to buy the 30 rounds magazine, else you're stuck with using the one sold with the gun, and 10 rounders one.
Having a single 30 rounder got me killed a bunch, but in terms of invested roubles to potential gains, I really think it became one of the good "budget" weapons. (500$ is still around 60 / 70k, but the gun doesn't sellback that well, nothing is strippable, so it's likely to come back.)
By using alt + right click you can turn on the light of your PSO scope btw, could make it easier to use.

Hey me brother, Pavlyuchenko here, let me give you valuable advice about ADAR and its perks:
1 - BE MINDFULL of your parts: if you want to snipy snipe with the Woody try to search for bigger barrel, always go for at least the 406mm, for maximum muzzle velocity and lower MOA dispersion;
2 - BE MINDFULL of your ammo: if the ammo you have available is FMJ, M856, RRLP, HP or Warmageddon, aim for LIMBS, those can't scratch most armor, but they leg the living shit out of anyone, only use M855, SOST or M856A1 if you feel like sniping heads for days, those penetrate almost every helmet available in early to mid wipes but not all vests, the other 3 left you can aim for anywhere, the just make minced meant of anything beyond you barrel;
3 - BE MINDFULL to always reposition every time you shoot someone and they don't die, unless you have a supressor, but if everything you have is a flash hider/compensator always have granades with you so you can stop anyone in its tracks if they push you and you can gain more space to reposition and take more shots.
Thats to gist of it, good luck brother, stay cheeki breeki :)

Now that Arena is out, I would probably recommend giving it a go to get used to the combat aspect of the game. That, plus just going offline with Scavs on High or Horde to practice against. Also: bookmark the wiki ammo chart page. It's best to know what damage, armor pen, and velocity the bullets you're using have.
if you like the vepr hunter then make sure when you get it to do revision lighthouse. it gets you m80 so when you get to peace keeper 3 you have some pretty viable rounds. also when you get the ability i think you would really enjoy the sa-58

for any of you new people, scavs are aimbot on a timer. the more you expose yourself to them the deadlier they are. they will aim to get your arms, legs, torso and head, eyes.
scavs can see realistically, back in the day they would see you behind bushes and folliage. if you can see them they can see you too.
1) they have good hearing, sprinting particularly sets them off.
2)they will do Russian callout first. means you are detected and will start targeting after that. (kill them before they finish their babbling)
3)when in a fight with scavs never repeat the same angle or peek twice or you'll get head, eyes'd
4) you can de aggro them, hide behind cover, lower your stance, and lower your speed until the litte speaker icon (noise level indicator) below your stance meter goes int the minimum.
move backwards slowly until they forget about you. they will reset their idle animations, after that you can re engage.
even chads get head, eyes.

You should try changing shoulder whenever you need to peek left angles, you will not reveal as much part of your body as you do when you peek left angles without your gun on your left shoulder
Something you probably already do but, I would look up the EFT ammo chart. Sometimes it's not your aim the bullet just doesn't do damage. As someone who just started this wipe, it helps. I also like making videos where I'm not trash at the game 😢
In this video specifically, i do think its more down to shot placement. The problem is that everyone has at least 440 health, and they recently lowered passthrough damage from blacked limbs as well.
Therefore, if you take 'good' ammo like M855A1/56A1 and don't hit the head or torso specifically, 10 shots to kill someone is well within reason. assuming 50 damage per shot, for 500 total, you might not even hit that 440 health point if you've purely hit limbs. Not sure the exact modifier for each limb, but it goes as low as 0.7 multiplier for the arms or legs at least.
Lower tier ammo tends to be hollow point or hunting type rounds and have more flesh damage, making them actually more forgiving for people with less consistent aim.
@@capt5656 scavs health is randomized, 375-490 is where they sit. Also only body shots with armour that bullet isn't doing it's full damage. The damage just isn't there for hit bullets it's a higher pen round. Higher penetration less damage
@@Punkninja No, shots to blacked out (destroyed) limbs do not deal full damage.
Quickly looking at the wiki, it's actually x 0.49 for arms, 0.7 for legs, and stomach actually has a very slight increase at a 1.05 multiplier.
you can press de; on your keyboard to drop an item quickly rather than right clicking something then pressing discard
This is my first wipe and it’s very refreshing to see gameplay that looks like mine, biggest thing I’ve learned is ammo is very important get familiar w the different pen and dmg values of ammo, keep up the work bro one day we will be chads lol
This, the minute i learned the difference between T and HP rounds for the AK i started doing a lot better, and moved to purposfully getting into fights on Factory with some level of confidence

Map/spawn knowledge is everything. Once you get that figured out, things will get better--believe it or not.

First of all, it is refreshing to get a "newbies" point of view. Tarkov is a HARD game and even after thousands of hours, I get "tarkov'd" daily. Echoing other comments, sound is 75% of this game. Prioritize a headset over a helmet every single time if funds are tight. Being able to hear someone first or at least at the time time will greatly increase your chances of survival. The ammo you shoot is also super important. If your ammo only has 15 pen and someone is wearing T3 armor, you're not going to penetrate their armor and will mostly likely lose that fight, no matter how many times you connect. The other thing I would point out, having to do with sound, is that the faster you swivel, the louder the sound. Swiveling slowly helps reduce that noise. Also, when crouched or slow walking, pay attention to your white triangle indicator. If it is all the way to the left and you are crouched, you make ZERO sound. Meaning you can slow crouch walk into a better position without the enemy gaining any sound queues. That will help when trying to get into a better position. Anyway, I could go on and on... Good luck on the raids and try not to get discouraged. Its brutal out there! I also appreciate the scripture brother :)
As a fellow Timmy, seeing you prioritizing the helmet to the headset did hurt my heart a bit, but what puzzled me the most was to wonder how you could even afford to - apparently - get this kind of weaponry and scopes for every raid... I don't play with half that luxury and I'm broke as hell already xD
And yeah, also as a fellow 5.56 enjoyer, seeing how BAD they are on a constant basis makes me so very sad =')

Small tidbit. Use scav mode a lot. Free money + weapons early on. When using bolt actions or sniper rifles ALWAYS bring a secondary whether a cheap ak like aks-74u or a pistol and most importantly always bring a headset. A cheap 10k headset can improve your hearing by like 10-20 meters

Fun fact those early kill pmcs quests are easily done on ground zero
for all casual tarkov gamers; i recommend you to look up the loot spawns(primarily bitcoin or valuable) on whatever map your comfortable with and know well and make a route you can consistently follow from different spawns to make good rubles, use your scav and hideout lavatory for alot of quest items, and pvp comes along as you get more experienced, try and learn lighthouse rouges even as a scav you can find alot of good m4's scars and auto ak's with good scopes like the ps-320 and specter aswell as teir 4 n 5 armor, it is currently my main source of gear until i get better trader levels.
please start wearing headsets in tarkov! they help you hear footsteps much sooner and clearer
I feel you bro. I have to rat through all the fn quests just to get to decent gear to do pvp to begin with. The game wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't for the grind.

I am level 12 for the first time and this game is truly scary. I have hearing loss on my right ear so I struggle a bit when it comes to sounds in games, so this game gives me proper PTSD.

I’m 10 days in and already lvl 20 on my first wipe. It’s all just game knowledge and how fast one can learn the maps and the quest / gun systems.
Coming from a fps backround the aim is already there it’s just learning map call outs at a certain point.

Biggest tip I can give is try and aim face a little bit more. A lot of the time you are hitting upper chest. If you take 1 more moment to pull your aim up you will grab a kill a lot faster
Its great content watching someone new trying to figure the game out. One thing I always struggle with, especially playing solo, is just basic patience. Can I shoot at this guy right now? Yes. Would it be better to wait and guarantee the kill? Also yes.
I started playing month ago and struggled with the AI scavs at first. Now i kinda learned a bit and gear and guns make a lot of difference and also knowing where PMCs and Scavs spawn and extraction points are also very important.
One good scav run can fund 2 PMC loadout so I don't run around like a hobo :P
Sell the compass and leatherman, it adds weight that is not needed
Using grenades on factory is a must in my opinion, I chuck one at the start of raid at the closest spawn point next to me to fish them out and disorient them and I chuck em to fish AI scavs because theyll say something everytime a grenades thrown
I am STILL struggling with Friend from the West, and it is incredibly stressful knowing that the longer I play, the harder it gets
You should definitely utilize control+left click and alt+left click to make your looting much faster. Makes a big difference in gameplay. The longer you are looting the longer you are vulnerable.
When you first start, everyone thinks Factory sucks because it’s tiny quarters and you don’t know where anyone’s going to attack you from. Then you learn all the spawns and after that you know exactly how much Factory sucks.
just go ahead and load into factory with a double barrel and a few Express Buckshot Rounds and just enjoy the ride. i would recommend getting up on the Walkways and just running around there and shooting whatever you see and dont forget, DONT STOP RUNNING!
Why do you not wear a headset? Not even a free Tac Sport from that PMC you killed near the machine shop.
My biggest issue with this game is the TTK…idk why an old Soviet steel helmet is stopping 9mm out of an MP5 or why people are eating multiple 7.62x51s to the chest. We’re talking 700-1000ms TTK on average in every fight not alter what unless you headshot.

I wish there would be a game mode where we can respawn on the map (like a free for all type) and practice without loosing loot.
No worries mate..i.m playing from Uk from a laptop..with ..WI- FI connection..abisimal..30-40 fps on it..and i still have the same abisimal playes..fuck it..i just move in front..even if in this connection i seem abisimal bad..if i got into my country Romania with 130 fps...different story!..but keep going with your play and show to a average player what to expect..you have a new subcriber to your channel!

I agree with most vets on here, I got close to 2100 hours and I love watching these new guys get into the game. I envy the “new adventures” stage a lot but at the same time it’s hard for me to play live without a proper anti cheat

The only good way to help with this and the EASIEST way to extend the earlygame. Make the traders TIME DEPENDANT NOT LEVEL!!!! Basicly, every two weeks you get a level with a trader, and its the same for EVERYONE. Meaning everyone has acces to the same traders throughout the wipe, then the flee is available from the start, or atleast early. But with limits to what can be sold and bought (Like today)- This simple change to level the playing field, and keep the game worth coming back to since you could hop in mid wipe, and be on closer terms with the tryhards and nolifes

It is a pain for casual players because tarkov is not a game you play casually.. you need to practice, suffer and put in hours and hours to get better and learn from your mistakes.. and when you dies hundres times and lost your whole inventary a couple times then you will learn and then the game is fun when you know how ro move and which risks you take and which don't.. i love it and it is my favorite game.. i was never investet in a game like tarkov before besides pubg

It's all 1's and 0's in the end. Loot and roubles don't mean jack squat as the game is going to wipe ever 6 months and you reset anyway.
Play to have fun, even if you die a lot.
I’ve played for a few wipes and this one might be the first I get flea. I love playing Tarkov casually and mainly with 1 or 2 other people just because there are so many fun strategies. I don’t care very much about progression I just scav for money then do some funi.
Oh, that painful movements remind me of how I started, except even picking with right hand to left side is painful to watch now.
Still, game becomes much more interesting when you know what you are actually doing.

I’m glad you seem to be enjoying the game now after your video about disliking the game a year or so ago. This wipe has definitely been one of the best wipes in the game’s history.
My Biggest gripe with this game is the shitty sound design, realistic or not how the fuck am i supposed to respond incoming fire if i never know where the enemy is?
Be in Dorms, on second floor, hear footsteps. Are they above or below? Can't tell. When in stairwell, can't hear foot steps at all.
BSG sucks at sound coding.
