And of course the car isn’t street legal…that’s why the roads were shut down and there is always a police presence at the running of F1 cars on public streets…and I would think New York would be especially monitored quite heavily…that was within a mile of the World Trade Center and the authorities were even careful to ensure the public was unaware of the filming until the last moment so as to minimize the likelihood of an opportunity for a high visibility terror attack. They did make a statement After The filming since the populace was wondering what on earth was making the noises…they’re jumpy at that sort of thing. The authorities only announced the true purpose of the road closure after it became impossible for the public to attend..it wasn’t a show run.
