My favourite player of all time .Best inside right ever .That goal he scored in the 82 world cup was absolutely awesome .I'm English and still playing at 55 .He was a big inspiration when I was a kid when I saw him play at the 84 Olympics. People raved about ric Charlesworth who was a great player . but I always thought that manzoor was the best in that era, a all time great no doubt.

Shehnaz Sheikh was fantastic too. Hasan Sardar was the best centre forward of all time. Manzoor Jr. was a fabulous hockey player no doubt. I loved watching him too. Ashok Kumar the Indian right in , son of Dayan Chand was an excellent player, but he was no match for our beloved Manzoor Jr.

Manzoor Junior was a gift of Allah bestowed to Field Hockey, granted to Asia to India and Pakistan. His skills stick work, body dodge, his vision, his dribbling and everything was exquisite and matchless. He was the beauty of Field Hockey. We didn't see anyone like him or similar to him! India and Pakistan will remember him because he was a true and genuine representative of Asian Style of Hockey.

Some other good players were mushtaq , Saleem sherwani , etc but could not play for long
