Empezando que ya se conocían antes de la prueba de química ,ya nos mintieron puedes creer lo que sea ,todo es muy extraño bodas a escondidas embarazos ocultos fechas que no concuerdad con la realidad sitios y lugares en que deben tener gemelos ,pues están juntos en un sitio y luego dicen estar por separado en otro ,lo único que no cambia es la manera de mirarse y su química ,la verdad está oculta mientras dure la serie se a escrito un libro narrando su amor ,o eso dicen si es así porque lo an dejado publicar ,todo muy confuso haciendo cócteles juntos en plena pandemia del covit dicho por ellos a los 9 meses nació un bebé que haciendo escenas muy peligrosas estando embarazada y con el covit cuando las restricciones eran muy severas solo núcleo familiar y Sam preparado por si se adelantaba el parto ,y el tal Tony donde se supone que estaba ,aparte de que quien puede creerse que si puedes estar con Sam te Bas con el otro que tiene química cero y atracción nula por muy buen chico que sea no hay color ,yo no me creo ya nada de lo que se diga en todas sus entrevistas sin hablar del tema dicen muchas cosas de su atracción su gran compenetración ,su gran comunicación sin casi ablar se lo dicen todo ,mi opinión es que no pasarian un detector de mentiras
They’re relationship has developed over 10 years, they are more mature and have moved on and are doing different things with their careers and personal lives, some people read into this negatively! I’m sure they truly respect each other and have a special bond, but some fans read the room differently. I truly respect both Sam and Caitriona, they have given so much over 10 years, I love Outlander and respect SAM and Caitriona’s personal life. I wish them both future success and happiness❤️

The world was finally opening up to him. Opportunities were coming his way that he only dreamed of. He's gone on to produce a world class spirits brand, written best selling books, produced travel shows. He's got boundless energy, drive and lots of ambition. Not everyone wants to settle down in their early thirties. He may never, or, he may be like George Cluny and do so later in life. Caitríona wanted a family being already in her thirties. They were in very different places and wanted different things in life. It's as simple as that. No need to disparage the man. You don't know him and never will. It's best to give people the benefit if the doubt, don't you think? And Sam is a lovely man. He's proved it over and over. Is he looking for something like Jamie & Claire have? Yes. He says so. But if he ever did carry a torch for her, that ship has sailed. And he's moved on, which is healthy.
I definitely think they had a real life relationship going on, and once Catriona decided to get married, Sam backed off. He was hurt. He hasn't been in a serious relationship with anyone and that's partially because he's in love with her. It's so obvious. You could really tell he fell for her in those earlier interviews, and that they were probably doing a little more than acting. That's why her boyfriend now husband hurried up and tied the knot with her. As far as their chemistry on screen, I think it's progressed naturally as their characters are getting older, which is good, and realistic. I just feel bad for Sam because he was very obviously crazy about her.

It's just funny to me how people believe they were ONLY good friends this entire time when they were pretty obvious about their feelings for one another on camera. I would like to believe that being a true admirer of anyone means you don’t speculate or, listen to rumours, Sam and Caitriona are their own people and should be respected for who they are, ‘phenomenal actors’ with a wonderful sense of humour, they have brought much joy to a dedicated fan base world wide, but sadly this isn’t an ideal word!

I have read magazine articles in which Caitriona said a rabid base of crazy fans cannot seem to grasp that fact that she and Sam are not lovers in real life. Some went as far as hiring a private detective to contact the secretary of the church in which she wed Tony McGill in an attempt to gain proof of their marriage, Then the rumors started that Sam was the father of her son. Caitriona claims she deliberately does not release photos of her son and has not even divulged his name. She said she does not want these crazies talking about him. I don't blame her for being careful about her private life and public interactions with Sam. I truly believe they are friends who care about each other, but I really don't believe they were ever lovers. It's called acting people, and these two are some of the bests in the business. People need to get a grip on reality and stop spreading such false rumors.
As a last season it would of been powerful to see both sam and cait direct an episode for s8. It would tie it all together. Leonardo Dicaprio had a chance to direct a scene in Revolutionary Road but stated to Kate Winslets husband (director of Revolutionary road) that hell never direct a costar . Especially his best gal pal, Kate. Kate said it was fine but Leo gave a firm no. Movies come and go but its the fans that take the hit of the actors acting. He stated an actor can completely lose its characater . I personally would never do that to my costar of 10yrs. Lets be honest... Claire may of made the books ...but its Sam bringing out Jamie that made the show what it is now. And thier chemistry. Not bree and roger. Not THEE THY rachel and young ian... but Jamie and Claire . The book fans loved s1 bc they read the books. But those thay didnt and doesnt know what will happen next, i gaurentee you most of it was about Jamie. And Jamie and Claires relationship. Which is beautifully written by Diana. We are still thinking about the ghost of Jamie in s1. He controls every scene when hes passionate. Not controled. Him waking up in ep8 s7 seemed like he had a bad hangover. When they are together it is a force. Why disrupt that? It would of been respectful of Starz to also let Sam direct too because he went through a lot in s1 and felt "betrayed" his words, from tbe staff about the Wentworth rape and torture scene. They wont let his skills out. They give him crumbs and when they do i am WOWd by his acting. Wentworth was absolutely horrible but his acting is what drew me to the show. To make sure jamie and claire are safe and ok. Especially Jamie! They keep taking powerful moments from him And its dumbing his character . Its not just me saying it and im glad others are finally saying something. I started outlander 2020 so i am not as indepth as some other fans. I dont blame Sam if he is upset about that. I saw all other seasons are 12-13 episodes so why is s8 just 10? Thats the last season and you all said how rushed they were with covid, pregnancy etc in s6. But look what they did to s7. 8 episodes! Sorry part 1 and part 2 will be next yr (another 8 episodes). Mega 16 epiosde season? Then the shock of part 1 part 2. A years worth wait!???? Thsts not normal for a show. Even outlander. I think you’re right! I had a feeling that Cait had become cold & also the way she said she felt so proud to direct & that she would be directing Sam! This was in an interview on a stage with the director…. Can’t remember her name. I started feeling she was not so sensitive as she had been showing along the show. It made me sad. But Sam is truly sensitive & it must have hurt him. That’s why I keep prying in these youtubes which announce sth that is not true, always hoping to learn of a re encounter. But no. I recall all those incredible scenes & can’t believe it was all fake. Then she’s a hell of an actor. I had never seen such love scenes in my life!

My personal opinion is that because of all of the rumours, they have decided to cool the flirtiness in front of the camera and in public, but when no one is watching, they probably have the same relationship that they always have had. Also, they each have other projects going on and Cait has her family to be concerned about. Imagine how Tony feels with the rumours about his son being Sam's. I try to stay away from the rumour mill, but even I have heard of some of these rumours.

The comment about Sam being possibly upset about her directing is stupid. He was probably never interested in directing…never heard him say anything to the contrary. If he is upset, then that would be ridiculous. I think he’s more grounded than that and would be disappointed to learn if he wasn’t.
I definitely see a difference in the show and this might be because of the "intimacy" coach that was hired for the show. I loved the first seasons and their definite chemistry in all their scenes, especially the love making ones. These have changed drastically over time and I miss that connection with them on screen. There isn't much warmth being shown now in the current seasons, but like everyone points out, they're supposedly getting older in the show, so things are bound to change. As for their friendship in real life, I think they're still great friends and just have other things going on; they don't need to spend time together anymore for press and to publicize the show. They also don't have to do things they don't want to do anymore. In a podcast, Ira said that Sam fought hard against having to do the oral sex scene. But the producers insisted. He also had trouble with the rape scene being too explicit. He was too green and powerless at the time to be listened to. I agree, I LOVE the raw vulnerability of those early seasons. I've never seen anything more beautiful when it comes to sex scenes. But it cost them more than we knew. They say the IC has helped them tremendously and I'm glad for it. But I don't buy their reasoning that things change as you get older. They do, but not necessarily in that area. DG shows us that in her books. We see changes, but the passion is always right there. I think SC are just trying to have an answer for the changes without having to go into the nitty gritty of the real reasons. Plus, she's married now and I suspect trying to respect her husband. They say they're exploring new ways of expressing intimacy and going deeper now. That may be true, but from what I see, everything is pretty much suggested now rather than shown. I really hope in the finale we'll at least see them really kiss, instead of this new breathing into each other's mouths style of kissing. But who knows? I do respect their boundaries. And there is a difference. And that's that.

My opinion is-I don’t think it’s the marriage or the child or the supposed love they have for each other. Whatever happened was recent because if you watch them it’s Sam who is the stand off one. He seems mad at her. Like he doesn’t want to talk to her but does because the show demands him to do so. I really don’t think her husband cares who she bums around with. After all she went to the Paris fashion show with her male hair dresser. So he wouldn’t care. As far as the child , I’m sure she can get the nanny to watch the baby for an afternoon. So rule out hubby and child. So what does that leave. For Sam to turn his back on her it had to be betrayal of some sort. He’s not the type to turn his back on a family member, as he refers to her. But can’t guess what the reason would be. Guess time will tell. But guess what folks-we’re all gonna live anyway. So who really cares !

The Director & Diana Gabaldon are the ones who control that, nobody else. I notice the IC ( intimate coordinator) likes to do a lot of scenes with hand motions. Caitriona & Sam did an excellent job in promoting the show and acting as lovers in the show, nothing else. What's the old saying....Sex Sells! They've did their job!!

All relationships change over time. The flirty, touchy-feely stuff can't last forever. By Season Seven, they are portraying an "old married couple". It would be unrealistic if, after being together for such a long time, they were still kissing and groping each other at every opportunity! Their real-life friendship accurately reflects the warmth and familiarity of their on-screen one. They are still beautiful together!

And they both say they've accessed those feelings in their scenes together. They have memories of those moments etched into their personal relationship. It may be Jamie & Claire in those scenes, but Sam & Cait are feeling it in order to bring the Frasers to life on screen. They're close as close can be without actually being a couple in real life. It's unique. And very them. Do I believe they were once in a relationship? I don't think so. They say they weren't. They're clearly not each other's type, given whom she married and the women he dates. But do I think they may have had sex early on? Probably. They were in a room alone blocking those sex scenes. How could they not? That would account for the closeness we saw then. But the scenes changed into PG 13 over the years. After she married. Have I reason to believe that it's all a lie and they're in a secret marriage? No! That's ludicrous. The old Hollywood studio system that controlled the lives of its actors is long gone. We have to trust that they have a bond that cannot be broken, even if they don't see each other much after the show comes to an end. Ten years is a long long time to be together almost daily.

Er ist immer noch ruhelos und scheint wohl eher momentan Ruhm, Anerkennung und Luxus zu brauchen. Denn warum sollte er sonst zur Schauspielerei noch zu modeln, Bücher zu schreiben, Whisky und Gin zu produzieren und unendlich viele Interviews in den Medien zu geben usw. I believe they had natural chemistry and a relationship at the beginning but something did change; maybe Cait didn't like all the attention Sam got rather than her, maybe it's because she got married and had a child and maybe things just cooled off but I do think she hurt him. With her directing Sam; that's probably hard for him to deal with as he has admitted he is very competitive, she can come off as a know-it-all, and he is more of the show's attraction. I believe I wouldn't have been more into the show if it wasn't for Sam.
I agree on all counts. I loved them both (just discovered OL last Sept) so binge watched old and new videos of them. Seems obvious they had a relationship early on which didn’t work out, (I can’t imagine why). But be that as it may I think Sam should be given the same chance to direct as Cait. He’d had far more experience acting than she when they met (I believe it was her first role). I definitely say Sam IS Outlander, I wouldn’t have watched more than S1 if not for him.

Empezando que ya se conocían antes de la prueba de química ,ya nos mintieron puedes creer lo que sea ,todo es muy extraño bodas a escondidas embarazos ocultos fechas que no concuerdad con la realidad sitios y lugares en que deben tener gemelos ,pues están juntos en un sitio y luego dicen estar por separado en otro ,lo único que no cambia es la manera de mirarse y su química ,la verdad está oculta mientras dure la serie se a escrito un libro narrando su amor ,o eso dicen si es así porque lo an dejado publicar ,todo muy confuso haciendo cócteles juntos en plena pandemia del covit dicho por ellos a los 9 meses nació un bebé que haciendo escenas muy peligrosas estando embarazada y con el covit cuando las restricciones eran muy severas solo núcleo familiar y Sam preparado por si se adelantaba el parto ,y el tal Tony donde se supone que estaba ,aparte de que quien puede creerse que si puedes estar con Sam te Bas con el otro que tiene química cero y atracción nula por muy buen chico que sea no hay color ,yo no me creo ya nada de lo que se diga en todas sus entrevistas sin hablar del tema dicen muchas cosas de su atracción su gran compenetración ,su gran comunicación sin casi ablar se lo dicen todo ,mi opinión es que no pasarian un detector de mentiras

He's gone on to produce a world class spirits brand, written best selling books, produced travel shows. He's got boundless energy, drive and lots of ambition. Not everyone wants to settle down in their early thirties. He may never, or, he may be like George Cluny and do so later in life. Caitríona wanted a family being already in her thirties. They were in very different places and wanted different things in life. It's as simple as that. No need to disparage the man. You don't know him and never will. It's best to give people the benefit if the doubt, don't you think? And Sam is a lovely man. He's proved it over and over. Is he looking for something like Jamie & Claire have? Yes. He says so. I definitely think they had a real life relationship going on, and once Catriona decided to get married, Sam backed off. He was hurt. He hasn't been in a serious relationship with anyone and that's partially because he's in love with her. It's so obvious. You could really tell he fell for her in those earlier interviews, and that they were probably doing a little more than acting. That's why her boyfriend now husband hurried up and tied the knot with her. As far as their chemistry on screen, I think it's progressed naturally as their characters are getting older, which is good, and realistic. I just feel bad for Sam because he was very obviously crazy about her.

Wow, I’m watching “Outlander Season 7: CB, SH…”. There are a million of them, it’s the one where Josh Horowitz brings up the voice texting & forgive me, but she was an absolute b. I was shocked.
I would like to believe that being a true admirer of anyone means you don’t speculate or, listen to rumours, Sam and Caitriona are their own people and should be respected for who they are, ‘phenomenal actors’ with a wonderful sense of humour, they have brought much joy to a dedicated fan base world wide, but sadly this isn’t an ideal word!

I have read magazine articles in which Caitriona said a rabid base of crazy fans cannot seem to grasp that fact that she and Sam are not lovers in real life. Some went as far as hiring a private detective to contact the secretary of the church in which she wed Tony McGill in an attempt to gain proof of their marriage, Then the rumors started that Sam was the father of her son. Caitriona claims she deliberately does not release photos of her son and has not even divulged his name. She said she does not want these crazies talking about him. I don't blame her for being careful about her private life and public interactions with Sam. I truly believe they are friends who care about each other, but I really don't believe they were ever lovers. It's called acting people, and these two are some of the bests in the business. People need to get a grip on reality and stop spreading such false rumors.

As a last season it would of been powerful to see both sam and cait direct an episode for s8. It would tie it all together. Leonardo Dicaprio had a chance to direct a scene in Revolutionary Road but stated to Kate Winslets husband (director of Revolutionary road) that hell never direct a costar . Especially his best gal pal, Kate. Kate said it was fine but Leo gave a firm no. Movies come and go but its the fans that take the hit of the actors acting. He stated an actor can completely lose its characater . I personally would never do that to my costar of 10yrs. Lets be honest... Claire may of made the books ...but its Sam bringing out Jamie that made the show what it is now. And thier chemistry. Not bree and roger. Not THEE THY rachel and young ian... but Jamie and Claire . The book fans loved s1 bc they read the books. But those thay didnt and doesnt know what will happen next, i gaurentee you most of it was about Jamie. And Jamie and Claires relationship. Which is beautifully written by Diana. We are still thinking about the ghost of Jamie in s1. He controls every scene when hes passionate. Not controled. Him waking up in ep8 s7 seemed like he had a bad hangover. When they are together it is a force. Why disrupt that? It would of been respectful of Starz to also let Sam direct too because he went through a lot in s1 and felt "betrayed" his words, from tbe staff about the Wentworth rape and torture scene. They wont let his skills out. They give him crumbs and when they do i am WOWd by his acting. Wentworth was absolutely horrible but his acting is what drew me to the show. To make sure jamie and claire are safe and ok. Especially Jamie! They keep taking powerful moments from him And its dumbing his character . Its not just me saying it and im glad others are finally saying something. I started outlander 2020 so i am not as indepth as some other fans. I dont blame Sam if he is upset about that. My personal opinion is that because of all of the rumours, they have decided to cool the flirtiness in front of the camera and in public, but when no one is watching, they probably have the same relationship that they always have had. Also, they each have other projects going on and Cait has her family to be concerned about. Imagine how Tony feels with the rumours about his son being Sam's. I try to stay away from the rumour mill, but even I have heard of some of these rumours.

The comment about Sam being possibly upset about her directing is stupid. He was probably never interested in directing…never heard him say anything to the contrary. If he is upset, then that would be ridiculous. I think he’s more grounded than that and would be disappointed to learn if he wasn’t.
I definitely see a difference in the show and this might be because of the "intimacy" coach that was hired for the show. I loved the first seasons and their definite chemistry in all their scenes, especially the love making ones. These have changed drastically over time and I miss that connection with them on screen. There isn't much warmth being shown now in the current seasons, but like everyone points out, they're supposedly getting older in the show, so things are bound to change. As for their friendship in real life, I think they're still great friends and just have other things going on; they don't need to spend time together anymore for press and to publicize the show. They also don't have to do things they don't want to do anymore. In a podcast, Ira said that Sam fought hard against having to do the oral sex scene. But the producers insisted. He also had trouble with the rape scene being too explicit. He was too green and powerless at the time to be listened to. I agree, I LOVE the raw vulnerability of those early seasons. I've never seen anything more beautiful when it comes to sex scenes. But it cost them more than we knew. They say the IC has helped them tremendously and I'm glad for it. But I don't buy their reasoning that things change as you get older. They do, but not necessarily in that area. DG shows us that in her books. We see changes, but the passion is always right there. I think SC are just trying to have an answer for the changes without having to go into the nitty gritty of the real reasons. Plus, she's married now and I suspect trying to respect her husband. They say they're exploring new ways of expressing intimacy and going deeper now. That may be true, but from what I see, everything is pretty much suggested now rather than shown. I really hope in the finale we'll at least see them really kiss, instead of this new breathing into each other's mouths style of kissing. But who knows? I do respect their boundaries. And there is a difference. And that's that.

My opinion is-I don’t think it’s the marriage or the child or the supposed love they have for each other. Whatever happened was recent because if you watch them it’s Sam who is the stand off one. He seems mad at her. Like he doesn’t want to talk to her but does because the show demands him to do so. I really don’t think her husband cares who she bums around with. After all she went to the Paris fashion show with her male hair dresser. So he wouldn’t care. As far as the child , I’m sure she can get the nanny to watch the baby for an afternoon. So rule out hubby and child. So what does that leave. For Sam to turn his back on her it had to be betrayal of some sort. He’s not the type to turn his back on a family member, as he refers to her. But can’t guess what the reason would be. Guess time will tell. But guess what folks-we’re all gonna live anyway. So who really cares !

The Director & Diana Gabaldon are the ones who control that, nobody else. I notice the IC ( intimate coordinator) likes to do a lot of scenes with hand motions. He has other projects with Starz, she doesn't. Cait's been hankering to direct for years! Sam has so many other things going on, the last thing he needed to do was add another pressure to his list by directing. He's already said he plans to direct a project - likely his own - but not on Outlander.
I agree with your reasoning as to why they've changed a bit though I disagree with your conclusion - that they are no longer as close as they once were. ~They have dialed back the flirting. It's not appropriate anymore. She's a wife and mother. Her child will see these some day! Also, they both say their relationship has only deepened, which I believe. He had trouble holding back the tears when they did their first walk through for the final season. He clearly adores her. And in the last press junket she seemed warmer than he did in some of them. Do I believe they were once in a relationship? I don't think so. They say they weren't. They're clearly not each other's type, given whom she married and the women he dates. But do I think they may have had sex early on? Probably. They were in a room alone blocking those sex scenes. How could they not? That would account for the closeness we saw then. But the scenes changed into PG 13 over the years. After she married. Have I reason to believe that it's all a lie and they're in a secret marriage? No! That's ludicrous. The old Hollywood studio system that controlled the lives of its actors is long gone. We have to trust that they have a bond that cannot be broken, even if they don't see each other much after the show comes to an end. Ten years is a long long time to be together almost daily.

I believe they had natural chemistry and a relationship at the beginning but something did change; maybe Cait didn't like all the attention Sam got rather than her, maybe it's because she got married and had a child and maybe things just cooled off but I do think she hurt him. With her directing Sam; that's probably hard for him to deal with as he has admitted he is very competitive, she can come off as a know-it-all, and he is more of the show's attraction. I believe I wouldn't have been more into the show if it wasn't for Sam.
I agree on all counts. I loved them both (just discovered OL last Sept) so binge watched old and new videos of them. Seems obvious they had a relationship early on which didn’t work out, (I can’t imagine why). But be that as it may I think Sam should be given the same chance to direct as Cait. He’d had far more experience acting than she when they met (I believe it was her first role). I definitely say Sam IS Outlander, I wouldn’t have watched more than S1 if not for him.
@@conniecarter778 He doesn't want to direct OL. He's said so. It's too time consuming. He's way too busy and has too many other things going on. Like his spirits company. Sam has become powerful. Starz doesn't want to lose him. He's fine. Cait has wanted to direct on OL for years and has pushed for it. She finally got what she wanted. It's a win win for both.

Any show without Cait & Sam in it will not be a success ! They need to set aside their pride & work out their happy future together in store for them! God help & bless their union ! Millions , I'm sure will be praying for this !
I love the series and them. Was just surprised as I haven't seen that kind of humour between them but I don't know 🙏🏻

@@Oldleftiehere they will be rushing it I'm sure. That's what they did to others shows too. It's not unheard of. I hope I'm wrong but when it all first started they were talking about doing all 10 books and they hyped it all up 16 episodes for season 7 and then all of a sudden "oh by the way you'll only get 8 epidsodes" :( they change the hype like the weather

Any show without Cait & Sam in it will not prosper ! By not dating again or going together again , big mistake for them both . They need to set aside their pride & make up for their own future , we know they love each other . God put them together again , pls !
