When I met my husband I told him this song reminded me of him. Everytime I heard it I would smile. I walked down the aisle to part of this song. My husband passed away in January from cancer. Everytime I listen now I feel closer to him, but also shattered. Thank you for creating this. Your music moves the heart.

This is the true definition of what it means to be an artist. Creating something out of nothing, but that “nothing” isn’t actually nothing. It’s him speaking through his music, taking his rawest and innermost emotions and conveying them through (in this case) the medium of a piano. The piano IS his canvas. It’s finding beauty in the world, whether it’s something little or big, or something personal (like a happy memory, or maybe even a painful one) he always finds a way to bring the beauty out of it.
Your comment is beautiful. I just found him one week ago. His music allows you to go on a journey through space and time and to end up just where your suppose to be. In the present.

@@SamuraiSharp it was a spur of the moment genuine reaction from listening to the music. Wasn’t even really thinking about it too hard…my fingers just started typing because the piece truly moved me at that moment and I just felt this sudden urge come over me out of nowhere that I had to express my gratitude to the artist for drawing such a vivid, raw emotional response from me.

i learned this song for my grandmother, why passed away a few weeks ago. She past away on Christmas Eve, exactly 3months after my grandfather, they really were inseparable. I never heard this peace before, but the night I heard she died, I heard this piece, and I knew I wanted to play this on her funeral. So I began te learn it, and I learned every days hours long. This piece really reminds me of my grandparents. This piece is for me really sad, but also gives me hope, in life. Einaudi , u really make me feel better with your music, and I thank you for that :)

My Sister passed away on 24th December 2021 of terminal cancer … When I listen to this I imagine her beautiful and kind soul leaving her body and gliding over us into heaven to be reunited with our Dad who died also in December 2 years ago. Your music is beautiful and takes my heart to a better place.

I am so surprised there aren’t more views on this. This is the most beautiful expression both musically and visually that I have experienced of this song. My heart is liquid.

I used to hear Ludovico like 5-6 years back. But then life got busy and i almost forgot about these magical creations. But one day, a small kid was playing a tune similar to this. And, oh lord! It came back to me. Even though i had forgotten the artist, i was determined to listen to Ludovico again. So here I am almost a couple of days enjoying these amazing creation after searching everywhere. I am glad i found it. 🙂

I lived in Moscow in 2013. Then it seems there were only 2 concerts, 1 in Moscow, the second in St. Petersburg. Unfortunately, I couldn't get to any of them, I just didn't have enough money for a ticket. They are generally not there now. Yo también, ahora tengo 31 y solo lo toqué 6 meses cuando tenía 7 años, hasta que un día y estando esperando que mi expareja despertara del coma lo escuché mientras descansaba en el coche en el parking del hospital, y al día siguiente me compré un piano de 50e de segunda mano en una tienda cercana y me pasé 3 meses practicando en ese parking en el coche metido con el piano aguardando que ella despertara, y ahora dos años después sigo practicando ya no por ella sino por su música, me devolvió a la vida😍
