Hey Dime, I think the reason you didn't get any bows or enchanted books from fishing was because the water you were fishing in wasn't deep enough. Mojang got rid of simple afk fishing farms by making it so you can't catch treasure unless your fishing bobber has a 5x4x5 space around it that's either air, water, or waterlogged blocks without collision like sea grass.
