I Love mine...got it in the summer of 2019...as part of the gear up program, came with 4 Mags, range bag ,firearm ...extra optic fiber, lock and cleaning tools..it’s very accurate and a soft shooter..great for concealed carry....
Have mine in 45acp. The more I shoot it the better it performs. Unreal firearm! And it carrys very well inside the waistband even with the extended magazine. I love mine. Highly reccomend it.
Picked up my new pistol last week and put a couple hundred rounds through it out of the box. No FTE or any malfunctions at all. Fit and finish seems superior to my Shield. Less barrel flip too, what with it being a bit top heavy. My new favorite gun. :)
+0Rockstar7 They sell them in 2 different packages, the essentials which just has the gun, lock, and 2 magazines. The other package has all the gear and costs a bit more. From what I have heard they won't be continuing to offer 2 separate packages after 2016 though.
I have a few of them. the latest being the XD mod 2 9mm. service model. now I find the grip zone to do what it was made to do. o see the complaints about it. to each his own. but I will say. if seen 90 % of the stippling work done on some hand guns. it's ugly it takes away value for resale. and well intruders are not intimidated by either. YFI. grate video grate gun.
I caught this exact model on sale from GrabAGun.com for $478, minus the holster and fixings. I absolutely love it.. My Vedder LightTuck holster makes it even better 👌
I just held one at Academy Sports in 40 caliber for almost that identical price brand new dude. Check them out. They average $100 cheaper on this price range gun than anyone else where I live
Would this be a good choice for a conceal carry? at about the 4 oclock position? I'm looking for a conceal carry 9mm, I'm considering this gun, as well as the SCCY cpx-2. Just don;t know with this guns bulkiness if it'll be as comfortable as the SCCY would be...
NastyyNashh i have carried both of the guns in question yea the sccy is smaller but from my experience I would not trust my life to a sccy pistol and I know there are good ones out there the one I got wasn't one of them. I've also carried Taurus pt111 g2 easy to carry and I trust my life to or
such a nice pistol, looks good in that FDE. I purchased the same pistol but in black and in 40S&W...but was recently stolen. most likely I'll buy me another. Good Review.
The one we shot in the video is a 9mm, personally I prefer the size and recoil that the 9mm offers. The downside however is obviously its a smaller round than the .45. The big tradeoff by going to a larger caliber is always ammo capacity. The XD MOD .2 holds 13+1 for 9mm, 9+1 for the .40, and 9+1 for the .45. Also the difference in barrel length between the 45 and the 9mm is .3" longer and the overall length of the weapon increases by a quarter inch. May not seem like much but when concealing size matters.
The Shooter Review Good point! I was concerning about the length of .45 while concealing as well.. As of now I'm leaning towards 9 mm for capacity and price.. nice video and great reply.. thanks!
I got the 9, (pictured) but I'm trading for the 45. bigger is better. and you still have 13+1. vs 16+. only lose 3 rounds but get lots more knockdown power. great gun. just wish it had a manual safety

I bought my Mod 2 at Cabelas...the case didn't have any of the items that were pictured in this presentation except for the 2 mags...
I adore my xd mod .2 45 acp it's one of the best by Springfield

Just bought One only in .45. Because shooting twice is silly.
I have it and love it I have 1000 rounds thrue it and no issues its my everyday carry
Good review ! Like my XD Mod.2 40S&W too. 9 & 12 Mag.
I love my mod.2 in .40. What I didn't like is that mine did not come with holster, mag holder and loader. That sucked.

.40 is a good round. Bought mine in .45. I just do not consider 9mm enough of a man stopper
