    Wonderful video. Thank you for taking the time to produce it. We especially appreciated the split screen demonstrating the interior and exterior views simultaneously.

    We have had popups,pull alongs, 5th wheel camper over the past 40 years(can't forget the tents). We are now both retired and want a camper again. nothing big, hence the hybrid, only i didn't know how to close it up. Thankyou for the video. We are now much more comfortable with the idea of how its works,

    Great video! Thanks so much for the tips. We just bought an OLD hybrid, a 2000 model!! Wish us luck this spring when we try to break it in and get the hang of it!

    2013 Jayco fight hybrid.
    I have only used that part of my camper a couple times. I use the table bed for myself and dog.
    One person not worth all the fuss.
    Thank you

    Awesome. Thank you. Just got a hybrid and put the beds down but watched this before putting them back up. I do this by myself (with a 7 year old) without my husband. Should be interesting.

    4 years ago? Wow, great tutorial ladies, bravo. I'm looking at a jayco kiwi myself, seems to be only half as annoying as a regular pop-up and a bit more work than a solid camper but they're light and you can hang out and take a nap with it closed so it's not so bad. Thanks

    This shows exactly what I was curious about. We have a pop-up and a 218 camper, but are considering a hybrid for a little more room. Doesn't look too bad at all. I liked the patriotic grounds motif in one of your other vids. Nice to see support for the best country on the planet! Thank You for the great vids.

    Thank you for this video. I had never heard of a hybrid trailer until recently, but every posting stated what a pain putting the beds up and down was compared to a typical trailer. It takes a little work, but it seems doable.

      I have an older hybrid with double/queens on either side of the rear, a big king over the hitch and the table makes down to a queen. My teenage kids all have jobs to do when we park. One attacks the jacks and leveling, then two of us put the beds out. We are completely set up and relaxing in about 10 minutes. My family has had all kinds of holiday trailers/campers and this doesn't take any longer to set up. Happy Camping.Hey Bobby, thanks for the tip about the space blanket. I will tying that as well as one under the mattresses for our Northern Alberta camping season.

    Dang! I have a hybrid and it's missing the "cords" and the Mattress for it. I was hoping to see yours and how you attached them, and wouldn't you know it, the top part where it attached was not shown. And you even mentioned it too! :-( I was also hoping to see how I could get my missing parts. I bought my camper used and it didn't come with the parts..

      @BobbiMeyer  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      What do you mean the slide out is off?

    • @jlynngouty
      @jlynngouty 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      off track I think, the bottom comes in first , then to top is out like a 1/2 inch or so.

    • @BobbiMeyer
      @BobbiMeyer  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      get some silicone spray and spray the seals really good, and make sure there is nothing on top of the slide in that could be hanging up. ours starts pulling the bottom first since thats where the wormgear is, but the whole thing should slide easily...just make sure it's silicone spray. Also check inside the cabinets to make sure there is nothing keeping the top from coming in all the way.

      Having had a pop-up and a solid camper withing the last 4 years I can say, if you can find a feather lite 20+ foot solid camper in you budget and towing capacity isn't a big deal (if you have a full sized pick-up) then do that. Way easier. But if all you have is an SUV and don't mind 30 minutes if set up/down then hybrid it is.
