I have a fairly new overlocker i.e. Aldi Singer (less than a year old) and by watching Abi, I am respecting my machine by keeping everything dust free and oiled. I can tell you I am really getting along great by reading the manual and following Abi's advice and following the video clips. Can't thank you enough as I genuinely was scared of these machines but feel it's the best purchase I've made for a very long time. Anyone panicking about taking a leap and purchasing an overlocker, I did and I haven't looked back. It's permanently on my dining room table. cant bear to put it away. A word of advice, get yourself good thread, I bought Moon thread and haven't had any problems at all.
Thank you I was having trouble retreading my serger. I have a Simplicity Sl600 and with watching your video I was able to figure what I did wrong ! Thank you again
Oh my goodness, this is happening with my thread when I do the lower looper. We tried several times yesterday. to no avail. I am not giving up and will try again now that I saw your Video.
Hi Osman, ideally the tension dials should always all be the same but use this as guide to get you started and maybe watch the tension calibration video to help understand more
I have an overlock elna 664 pro, I had it for years. I gave it to repair because it didn’t cut fabric well. It was cleaned and knife replaced. it’s sewing great, as long as the thread of the fabric is vertical/horizontal. If I try sewing diagonally or sew around the circle it doesn’t keep the thread on the fabric. It’s like I’m sewing without a thread, it just cuts the fabric and that’s it. I did ask my repair poin about it but they just shrugged their shoulders…. I’m at my wits end I have no idea what’s wrong!
I’ve take care to thread my machine and it still isn’t making a stitch of any sort. I also noticed that my upper looper hits needle “A” and it sometimes bends.
I have this machine but not correct all adjustment because i'm disassembly all part and now i'm confused bout how to return because i don't have the service manual 😭😭😭
Now I'm going to check lower looper 😲😂❤️
Thanks. Yet again great information
Thank you 🙏🏽

I have the same Aldi Singer and not used it yet. I am delighted to have found this page.

Glad it helped
Thank you very much I have been struggling so much and this video explains it so well 🙏
Love this, also because I have the exact same Singer

Did it work? X
Not really, it works 2 out of 10 times, and then it just bunches up and gets stock in the feed dogs.
Hi ..., I see that the track numbers 3 3 3 4..... is this the standard that I can follow?

Is the lower looper over the bottom looper? I really can’t see it on the video.
Please do you know why my right needle thread keeps cutting after serging a little bit while 😭
Please what model of singer is this?

Hi Abi. The janome 6234xl is a bad overlocker to thread up. so much so, i do not use that much. I have a problem with one of the loopers . 😘😘👍👍
That’s not good. Is it the lower looper? Getting to the guide underneath the needle plate? I have that coming out shortly. 👀 just for you!
@@AbisDen Yes it is. and thank you. 👍👍😘😘
What else could it be if it's not the threading because I ruled that out

Have a look at the brother video. The machine comes back in a very similar way I don’t have manuals. I just had a go ! Good luck
Abi, my upper looper Sews good a bit and then bad a bit. The upper looper thread falls off the top line and falls to the front
😤
Have a look at the latest video and see if that helps. X
My overlocker is not stitching, the yellow 💛 thread loop is splitting the needles when it's supposed to be looping
My 4th thread won't stay threaded ahhhhh
Do you hava service manual (to repair) not manual instruction? Please🙏🙏🙏
No. We just know
This video has good content but lighting is poor , cant see threads nicely
