Favorite to fly. Always a challenge yet always graceful and predictable. Would appreciate a vid on advanced radio navigation techniques it can pull off with the dual VOR and dual ADF needles Cheers!
You use Honey Comb too, right John? I set my flap detent button to "water rudder" so when I want reverse thrust, it's bottom the flap lever, and apply throttle. :D Works great!
Sorry if I missed it but did you have realistic engine damage disabled for this flight? IIRC the AFE is quite particular for takeoff and just after takeoff settings. I’ve destroyed these engines so many times.
Thanks for the content! Love seeing radial engines being featured!
Haven't' flown this beast in awhile. I always use the flight engineer to help me fly this baby.
Thanks again for another great ride!

I've done some navigation tutorials in the distant past using triangulation - only with a Cessna though, so it made it less intimidating :)

No - I use the Airbus controllers from Thrustmaster.

There are some specific manifold pressure and RPM targets - it's not as bad as everybody makes out :)
Is there anyway to bind the superchargers?
Never tried :)
Ha too funny, my daughter is home for spring break, hiking in Yosemite today with her boyfriend. Maybe they saw you fly by...if it works that way.
Brake Mean Effective Pressure
Yep - the word I was trying to think of to do with over-stressing the engines was "detonation" :)
