I'm not sure it translate to the english text, but some of the reason why it is funny is the "matter of fact" way they talk and how they make their roles believable, its so close to be real
Nissene på Låven is a great norwegian reality-tv satire, tho like most norwegian comedy there are many internal references that may be lost on foreign viewers.
This is my childhood and my youth. Believe it or not, it made me more tolerant and accepting and fair than any "woke" show would ever had made me Edit: In case it wasn't clear: Because stereotype parody characters are treated as human beings, and even in the "edgyness" are always respected for who they are as people.
Similar series are: "Team Antonsen", "Åpen post". Some of the jokes would not be possible today because people get offended. I love those guys!
