You have to decide when to much is to much.
But we should be pushing children outside of their comfort zone.
They may not love it all but you will see progress if you are consistent and most importantly teach with love!
Children do not know how to regulate their emotions so it’s our job to help them get there!

Yeah although it might be a bit harder for them cause that’s their fear just like if you have a fear of spiders killing a spider for the first time can be nerve wrecking same thing with swimming

I've had a phobia of deep water for 10 years, then I almost drowned. Since New Year I've take swim class for 4 lessions. Lession 3 I swam breaststroke with a flotie on the deep end. On the forth lession no flotie, breast- and backstroke on the deep end. I was also introduced to treading water. On todays lession I'm going to jump into the deep end. So yeah, it is possible to learn to swim with a phobia, just find a good instructor and be brave and it'll work.

@@gracebrown9165Why would you ever kill a spider? They’re so important for insect control! If it’s in the house, just carefully put it in a paper towel and deposit it outside. Never kill it!

Yes people don't automatically grow out of water fear that's why you have to teach them when they are young cause drowning is a very serious thing. If you don't know how to swim properly then you can drown and too much water in the lungs can kill you that is why you can't panic when going under water. It's okay for children to cry when they are young but this is a life saving skill
