As a Wattson main, it feels like every map changes they made are just Wattson nerfs. She can only "block" 2 doors but there's still another 3/4 entrance to the building. It's basically useless.
She has a cool revive animation so maybe revive a bit faster like gibby on his dome and have her Ultimate recharge shields faster, she can be like octane so she can regen her shields some love for wattson she is useful actually most of the time I use her I have good games 80% of the time Wattson is great I really like her ✨
I think the ult should regen shield faster and her fences should slow enemies for at least 10 secs with maybe a 5 tic damage twice every time they go through.

Wattson is really good in the start of a game and the end of a game, as in the start of a game depending on where you land you can fence off an area and play around them almost immediately, which can create plays where the enemies play right into your hands, going where you want them to go. End game she’s good because of her ult and the stack of accels. Having an accel for each final ring is literally broken, as it negates all grenade spam and also adds extra shields, although I wish her ult healed health as well cause it is a little slow. But mid game you’re mostly relying on gun skill and her on ground speed depending if you’re in an area you can secure or not. She’s definitely not useless but there are a lot of more useful characters out there. Proud Wattson main here ☺️ Edit: You can also use fences to trap people inside a room or area, for example the two small rooms inside of Hammond labs on Olympus. People usually run in there to heal and what not, and sometimes you’ll find teams regrouping in those rooms. A simple fence keeps them in there and forces them to either fight from the inside and risk running out of ammo, or try to break the fences, if not run through them, which plays into a Wattson hands. If you play your cards right with her she is very useful
Idk why they struggle so hard to make Wattson decent. Here are some buff ideas i came up with in 2 minute while being on the toilet. -Since fences charge so slowly and do so little. Base count goes up from 4 to 6. -When her ult is off cd and not being placed on the ground. Her trophy system on the back passily charges up her shields (rate of old octane passive). -The throphy systems "timer bars" get increased by 1 for each projectile being intercepted. -Using an ultimate accelerant also heals 25% (shield cells) to her armor. -Her ult healing rate stacks and the total is being upped from 2 to 3 ults, with its overall time reduced by 30ish %. -Fences being visually reversed. Means, allies see them on like they are now but for opponents they dont have visable energy bars. -New passive allows Wattson to stack bat´s up to 3 and cells up to 6. Hire me respwn.

Wattsons kit is made for holding a point, like rampart, and nobody does that unless your ring guarding or something because apex is too fast paced. Edit: These legends are good at surviving third parties when they are indoors(oddly specific i know).
I'll speak on behalf of all the wattson mains and say there were so many times you couldve used a fence or an ult and done so much better in that fight

Crypto is an S tier character when played to his potential. The amount of utility his drone provides is crazy good and his ult is one of the best in the game.
Wattson’s ultimate: Can pretty much delete Bangalore/ Gibraltar/ and Fuze’s Ult’s. Can block all throwable items and fuze’s knuckle cluster making it hard to deal damage when a team is hiding behind cover or in a building. This Guy: Ah Yes, completely useless.

I know you're trying to defend her and I main her. But like you're only going to use her ultimate and even that is still useless because shield charging is so long. I personally use it for cover and something to stop air strikes.

She is useful, and only fun to play to those who embrace her playstyle. She's definitely one of the hardest legends to learn how to use effectively, but when you learn her for good, oh boy here come the team wipes

Thats a lie she useful she has her thing that recharge your shields
I know you're trying to defend her and I main her. But like you're only going to use her ultimate and even that is still useless because shield charging is so long. I personally use it for cover and something to stop air strikes.
Probably she needs to regen shields like octane regens health, her Ultimate needs to recharge shields faster like lifeline's heal drone, maybe she can res a bit faster like gibby in his dome she has a cool revive animation she needs some more love
