    you are expert in english language grammar. it is advanced grammar it is known to very very few like professors. forget about school teachers. they are primary level people and intermediatary level. Studends who learn knowledge from them also feels they know every thing. You need not bother for ignorant people.

    Under zero condition examples are ambiguous I think Sir.If you fall down you get hurt,if the glass falls it breaks into pieces(immediate effect),If water boils at 100 degrees,evaporation comes out.(immediate result).

      No Sir, 0 conditional is not about whether the result is immediate or not. It is about whether the result is a habit/universal truth/characteristic or not. For example : If we deposit 100000 at 10% p.a, we get 110000 after one year. Here the result is not immediate. But since it is a mathematical operation which is always true, we used 0 conditional. If we are educating the children by telling them that whenever you fall, you get hurt, we use, If you fall down, you get hurt. But if we are warning a person about the present or future consequences, we say, If you fall down, you will get hurt. Here, the result may be immediate, but since we are emphasizing present or future repercussions, we use the first conditional rather than the zero conditional. Hope you understood
