Been looking into getting one of these for doing my daughters hair, this is the first video I have found that shows it being used on really long hair. I've had my doubts on buying it due to similar products stating that it should only be used on mid length hair after watching your video I am a little more assured that this would work on their (nearly) bum length hair. Definitely will be checking more of your videos out!

ChelsieSmiles Yeah I'd suggest a 10 or 20 volume... 20 will get all of the brassiness out but be careful how long you leave it in because it has made my hair have a purple tint before (if it happens to you, it'll wash out). Also there are purple shampoos and hair conditioners to help with brassy color too.

Thank you Chloe! The back was definitely a little trickier to do, so I practiced on my front pieces until I got the hang of it, and then I was able to do the back. Pulling the pieces forwards a bit so you can see what you're doing helps too! :)

Hi Karen, I try not to use heat on my hair everyday because it can cause damage. I usually apply a heat protectant after I wash my hair, and I only apply serums and oils after I've used heat. Hope this helps.
I have one of the same and it doesn't work like yours? For starters it doesn't beep while in the process of curling the hair. Secondly instead of it sucking the hair in and staying in the position you placed the clamp, it moves towards my head while pulling the hair in?? Lastly, when i try and remove the curl the chamber won't unlock so i have to physically pull my hair to release it? I don't know what I may have done wrong while setting up the product, but i really want it to properly work like you have shown (btw, you did an AMAZING job)! If anyone can tell me whats wrong with the product or what im doing or have done wrong, please tell me!! Thanks 😉
Oh no Lucinda! I am sorry to hear that. It sounds to me like you may have a faulty one, I am sure it is still under warranty. It should definitely beep, and I do notice mine moves towards my head as well but not a noticeable amount. Luckily I have never had my chamber lock up on my hair, it usually releases quite easily. Hopefully it sorts itself out, or hopefully you can get a replacement.
Alex Gaboury , i did some more research on it and discovered that because this video is 1 year old the newer model that came out this year is the one with that feature. So it is not your mistake. Supposedly it controls the direction the curls take. (Left, Right, Auto)
Aw wonderful that makes so much sense. Haha thanks for clarifying R, L, A for me. Even though this older model doesn't have those features you're still able to figure out how to hold it to change the direction of the curl, but those features would definitely make this tool easier to use. :)

I wanted this thing when it came out but now that it's price dropped I'm not sure I do. I want extremely tight curls & this isn't even on the setting for it as tight as I wanted. I don't know now I'm not sure.

Lucinda Burgess I found that if I clamp it too close to the roots I have similar problems.
