Only difference were the jersey colors and team history. Wondered why the lack of playoff success and the stigma of them being "Cursed". He was athletic and a great dunker, but he lacked skill. He had no consistent midrange shot, no three point shot, inconsistent ball handling, poor defense.

He could play! He was just always in a bad situation with the teams. The clippers were a mess owned by a cheapskate racist. If he wouldve been able to stay in orlando with T-Mac then he wouldve caused major damage.

I blame the Clippers , organization as a whole was thee living epitome of chaos , 16ppg for a career in the NBA is VERY solid . CMag && Qrich was 1 of my favorite duos growing . SO to them boys , real hoopers. Darius Miles was sneaky solid as well .

50 was a man child...dude could ball but just could not pull it all in an make that transition from player to star player to super star player....I think the worst thing that happened to him was the clippers...that hole crew was fun to watch but you knew at the end they was losing cause they had no real guidance...but at least he got paid to do something we would do for free if we ever had the talent an or the chance...so big up to C.Meggete....50....

Corey was the most consistent player on those Clipper teams. They loved to run the offense through Brand - which I always felt was a mistake.

I remember when I first got into basketball that Christmas in 2004 I got a Lakers Kobe jersey and a Clippers Maggette jersey.
I liked them both as individual players but I eventually chose to root fully for the Lakers in 2006 because Kobe was Kobe.

I had his Mcdonald's All American jersey. He and most of those early 2000's Clippers influenced my on court aesthetic. For me playing football and basketball, Corey was like the perfect example of I can be stacked and still get buckets.

The creator of this channel is spot on. I always felt Corey Maggette left Duke too early. I will further state that if Corey Maggette went to another basketball school other than Duke, his basketball game would reach higher levels. If Corey went to a school like Wake Forrest, he would have been a solid starter averaging well over 25 ppg. That would have made arguably the first pick in the draft. I feel that guys with Corey's skill would benefit with two years of college under their belt. But I definitely don't blame these guys leaving early for guaranteed 1st round money.

THIS IS STUNTED GROWTH! Stop doing click bait videos like Ja Morant, and do real SUPER talented guys that just never quite got to the lofty expectations people had for him. This dude just LOOKS like he was supposed to have been a goat. As chiseled, NBA ready body as I ever seen on a one and done - before Lebron of course. But he he didn’t even start that one year! Lmao. Never had Duke’s top 6 man every been expected to be a franchise player other than Corey Magette. And considering that - his career was pretty good lol. He could just show up and score 14-20. But that’s it.
