I had these on the 07 Z51 I bought a couple of years ago. Maybe it was the long tubes and 3" catted system, but these things were INSANELY loud! We couldn't talk AT ALL inside the car. I drove it back from Reno with the top out and the heater cranked up and even so my ears were ringing when I got home. Yeah, they sound great outside the car, but stupid loud inside. I replaced them with NPP Z06 mufflers - cured the noise problem and had the same great sound outside when you got on it.
Yea, the rest of my set up was Stock. Maybe the longtubes amplified the interior sound. On my set up it wasnt terrible at cruise, but acceleration had some noise for sure. I wasnt to big of a fan of them on days i may have had a headache. Lol but any other time, i really enjoyed them.
These are 2 separate exhaust setups. Billy boat does make a setup that has butterfly valves in bullet form but I cant think of the name at the moment. But to answer your question about the setup you are thinking of. The valve will either be open for loud or closed for quiet cruising. There is no in between.
drone while cruising isn't bad at all.. Very Bearable! The worst part that may get annoying is acceleration. but that's any exhaust.. I'd get them again, for sure... I sold that vette and got an 08!

The Camera Mic muffled the sound of the Bullets quit a bit... Use headphones to get a better idea of the sound! Loud and Proud...
Great video exactly what I was looking for, it's a toss-up between the bullets or the Route 66 for me. Do I want to piss the neighbors off or don't I

Extreme by corsa is a great exhaust. But i picked these up for cheap. They sound very good in person.
