How do you make the palatinal silicon matrix you use to reconstruct the palatal surface?

So basically you make a putty index with PVS putty material before you cut the tooth. In a real patient we do something called a mock up, and make the index from that.

@@chitranthirupathy6678So basically 2 appointments. One you do an impression for the mock-up and the second you create the index based on the mock-up and do the obturation. Am I getting it right?

@@AlexIonescudr Yes. You can take the impression for mock up on one appointment and the rest on another appointment. Now with digital technology it's easy to do digital mock ups and then 3D print it chairside. Many dentists have a single visit workflow too.
