I’m personally doing automatic lessons, but these videos are still entertaining to watch!! At the same time it is good to watch others do driving manoeuvres because you can see common mistakes and stuff
Thanks for these videos, I'm certain they helped me pass my test today finally at 30 years old! The one where you took the test yourself I found helped. Good luck to anyone else who has their test coming up
This is the lesson that I was waiting for. Thanks alot Pin and Rajan. I personally learn lot from this, will try voicing out the routes in my next lesson with my instructor ad see how that goes.
@@sarahshahzad9071 yeah same with me🤣 I remember doing lessons last year and they'd nag but you have to just take all of that because it really is character building🤣 putting yourself through that will get you better faster trust me
From my first lesson I was going left on the roundabouts (there’s 3 on the route we take). Today I had my 3rd lesson and started going straight over and turning right, got home and had to take a nap my brain was so fried 😂
Passed in 2006, yes I'm old. Bike in 2011 and class 1 in 2020. But it's great to still watch to brush up on basic skills. It's too easy to get lazy while driving and you end up forgetting most of it the day you pass.
He seem to be the perfect instructor. My first driving instructor was making me do my lessons right after my night shift always nakered so swapped and passed monday due to getting the right instructor
Awe good luck Lucy let’s hope we’re both walking out with a license!! I’m up in Liverpool just checked the weather and it’s going to be a nice dry sunny day hope conditions are good for you too! ❤
Prob a little late but, from a fellow learner- stay calm, make sure you stay in control of the car (ie don't speed up if you're worried about keeping your position or changing gear etc.), listen to your instructor and ask any questions as soon as you have them. It might also help to make notes & watch YT videos- this channel is good and so is Conquer Driving- he explains absolutely everything in detail with visualisations & demonstrations. Before my first lesson I also went through basic things like how to move off and park up. I read about it online since I wasn't sure. It helped calm my nerves a bit. Oh, and don't worry how many lessons it takes you to learn a certain skill or move onto busier roads, take it at your pace and keep practicing over & over. You'll get there. Hope that helps :)
just curious has anyone just sat and watched his videos and counted how many times he has said "yea" 😂 its a lot and like its contagious as the learner starts doing it to 😂
I’m sitting a second attempt of my theory test on Friday as when I took the test last time (in November) I passed the hazard perception but was 2 marks off multiple choice. Does anyone have any tips or advice? I’ve been using the 4in1 app doing constant reading up on the high way code and mock tests so far
I was the opposite. I got 48/50 on multiple choice but was only a couple off the hazard perception. I just did a load of mock tests for the multiple choice. Worked well.
Don’t waste time on doing 10 questions at a time focus on doing mock tests and screen shot the questions you are getting wrong then go over them when looking at your camera roll also in the 4in1 you can fillter mock test to questions previously awnsers incorrectly so set it to that and just do a mock test on questions previously done incorrect and go over them countinously.
For me I’d say the multiple choice some of the questions were the same ones but in different words / format. It’s hard to tell what will actually be in the test on the day that you sit it, I’d say focus on speed limits, roadmarkings and the actual structure of the car (when would you attach chains to your wheels - when it’s icy or snowing to stop it from skidding, what is broken / the problem when your car is pulling to one side - uneven tyre pressure - steering alignment or could even mean the breaks, what is ABS used for - allow steering control under heavy breaking due to the wheels not locking and to reduce the chances of skidding, however it shouldn’t be used as a way to break later) Hope this helps! & good luck for the theory ❤️
I kept on doing the mock test until i would get 100% or 1/2 off make sure you set it so you are getting every single question then once you start to see a good pattern try to do one’s you get wrong from time to time to get used to them. Most of the answers are usually just common sense from what I seen like giving way but the signs and stuff try and learn beforehand.
@@obaidkhan9633 5:44 he's stopped and in 1st gear, having a conversation and has been asked to wash the screen. He should be in neutral. His foot is on the clutch the whole time. He's gonna get clutch-knee ache.
@@JasonUmbrellabird Not everyone goes into neutral at traffic lights. It’s up to the person driving. I’m sure its not hugely detrimental if someone waits in first gear to then move off.
Depends on how many hours you've had with someone else other than your instructor. If your only driving experience is with your instructor, you're 100% nowhere near ready for your test and it sounds like you have a very incompetent instructor if that is the case. The average amount of hours until a learner is ready for their test is 40 hours.
Hi Pin, I very interested in buying the UDC however I am from a low income background and cannot afford the full price of the course right now, are you offering any bursaries/discounts currently? Thank you
