@@lux5164 when you defeated an enemy it was supposed to give you a key that would force you into the key door when you tried climbing the vine pressing up.

But Royru just showed that this mechanism can be defeated in the SMB style. Probably SMB3, SMW, and New Soup styles as well. If you want to make a real pacifist challenge that can't be bypassed, use 3D World style with the locked warp boxes you can't get past if you have a key. Or... you can exploit the entity limit in any game style so that a trap is sprung if an enemy is defeated (due to a slot being opened up for it)

Smb1 can be decheesed if you use a link for an up run bomb tech to force the door check, and 3DWorld for locked warp boxes.
All 4 original styles can be decheesed if they do the clowncar sub world key check for RNG.
