The other one is pushed right out of the nest to freeze and starve, within eyesight of the sibling that is fed and kept warm. The mother and sibling watch the weak one die. They do not care. There is no moral dilemma nor "feelings" at issue. No love. Logic, and action only, based upon instinct and genetic programming.
