Hashimoto is one of the best choppers/defenders in women's table tennis. The reason you have not heard of her before is she does not compete often in international tournaments, only in her home country of Japan. She and her doubles partner Hitomi Sato has just won the doubles title at the Bangkok Star Contender tournament.
Why does the empire have to count the number of how many returns they hit?? Don't understand. Can anybody explain to me???coz it sounds bothering both players.
@@Lam007 but how many times they can count to decide who wins the point???how about they counted to 30 already, still nobody wins this point??? How could counting the points loud would speed up the game?? They all play their socks out already. How many numbers can referee count to decide who wins one point???table tennis.a very tiny ball, very skillful sport. Real tennis takes 4 times longer to serve a ball.(If Nadal is serving the tennis ball). So it makes no sense to me ,by counting how many times they are fighting for each point. If reaching to 50 times for the current point ,still no clear winner???who wins this current point???
@@hunggom a quick Google search shows this: the receiving player or pair scores a point if they make 13 correct returns in a rally. So it’s up to the server to score the point before 13-14 rallies or the receiver wins.
unbelievable power and secure replies.
this women plays on fascinating world class level 👏🏼
Never heard about Hashimoto, great defence!

It’s a rule when the rallies become too long they count them to encourage finishing the point faster
