Always weird to see her interviewed or highlight reels cuz I played with her when we were in high school haha
she definitely could have 3-peat as NPOY if she didn't get injured. her 2019 highlight is absolutely insane. that being said, there needs to be acknowledgement of her team - from hentz and gray putting her in good positions, to the block and back row so she can do KP things. I'm sure with her season in Japan under her belt we'll see her make the '21 squad as an opp.
I agree, she wouldn't have been as good without Hentz and Gray putting her in good positions.
What makes her a good hitter is that she can make a good hit out of any ball. It’s not just about the pass and set
The thing is I don’t think she has reached her maximum vertical yet. Her vision + power alone can bail her team out of bad passes and out-of-system plays probably 90% of the time, but I think once she gets to international competition she could benefit a lot from jumping higher. That and a much better passing of course. Really hope she shines with the US team!

Hopefully Kathryn Plummer will play for 2021 Olympic I so excited to see her. Kathryn Plummer is the next threat for the other teams. Kathryn P. already proves it in NCAA. So USADefinitely they need new youngster to be enhance and train well especially the phenomenal and exceptional 2 times Most Outstanding Player in NCAA and 2 time AVCA National Player of the Year. Imagine how many collegiate team with best line up with defense and offense. Kathryn Plummer is ongoing to Japan to play a volleyball club their and hopefully she will enhance and improve more in defense and pass. Honestly to say Jordan Larson need to retire right now and it seems shes exhausted and probably her age is going to 34 and next year in 2021 when the Tokyo olympic will be start her age is near to 35. So USA needs Kathryn Plummer and Mikaela Foecke to grab the GOLD medal in 2021 Tokyo Olympic. In addition Kathryn Plummer grab the title Best Opposite Spiker in U18 World Volleyball Championship and she competed with Paola Egonu who grab the title Best OH and MVP at that time and also Yingying Li who grab the second Best OH in the tournament.
Libs and setters deserve way more credit. Come on guys, there is way more to volleyball than a hit! Plummer is amazing but her lib is killer!!!!
