After a few years of searching for a good ML 430 I finally bought one, from 2000 and already have it for 2 months and happy about everything! It’s a money machine but hey you only live ones!
I know this 8 years old. I have a 2002 ML500 that has been sitting for couple of years. I am going to bring it back to the road. The key is missing and I have been looking for a way to manually move the shifter without a key. I will use this video to move the shifter manually.
Wow wounderful and Amazing videos l am proud that I am one of the owner of this M class but mind is ML BENZ 320, 2005 model. Please I have a problem with mind and I need urgent solutions to it, it started with when I on my car and wants to truttle it, it will go off. Now when I on my car after some time when the car sound or slow wants to come low it will off. But immediately the car goes off all the lights on the dashboard will automatically come up again. Before we thought that it was air flow meter but after diagonising it we discover that the air flow meter was OK. Now please what exactly is the remedy sir.
I have changed the fuel pump and fuel filter I have work and flushed the fuel system to nozzles I have changed the fuse box We have even check the gear selector switch and boxes Now I don't what else to check please help me let my car be OK and start working again.

Check fuel rail pressure
Check CPS
Check for vacuum leaks

love the "truckiness" of these early ML's, the 2nd generation was for queers.

Is their a cruise control feature? Where is button located?
I imagine it was a separate stalk, on the left side of the wheel.
Mercedes like to put cruise control stalk on left side steering wheel at top. (w163) and most others.
