Thank you for this video. There are many opinions out there, but I want the nuts and bolts of costs and convenience. You presented it well. My family hopes to spend 10-12 days in Japan. Three at Disneyland/Sea.
@@scrap.catastrophe Thank you for the feedback! I really appreciate it. When we were planning our trips, I wanted just the information and perhaps pros and cons, so I try to present it that way and let the viewer make the decision. Enjoy your trip! Japan is beautiful and so are the parks.
Hi, thank you very helfpul! Does the vacation package let you use premier access queue for all rides or can you only use it for the ones you select a slot for?
You can only use premier access queue for the rides that you select on the vacation package. For other rides (not including Fantasy Springs rides) you will need to use the regular standby queue. When you enter the parks, you can also purchase priority access passes for individual rides for about $20 US each if they're available (they go fast some days). These only apply to popular rides that have priority access. There's also a 40th anniversary pass that is free that you can try to get for some rides once you enter the parks as well. The Fantasy Springs packages allow unlimited access to the FS rides Peter Pan, Rapunzel, and Frozen through the priority queue and Tinker Bell through the standby queue as well with the Magic passport. This will be over on 3/31/2025. I made an updated video about the new vacation packages after that date and the link is in the description. th-cam.com/video/uv-0MAH8jJo/w-d-xo.html
This was actually very helpful and resourceful 😮 thank you!!! Recommend watching ! Quick question My wife and I are planning on going to Tokyo Disney April 2025, so when they say “Fantasy Springs” they mean DisneySea correct ? Like if you buy a vacation package you get a ticket to Disneyland and Disney Sea “Fantasy springs! And thank you👌🏻😊
@@Robles2891 Glad it was helpful! Yes, the Fantasy Springs Magic pass gives you access to DisneySea, so you’re getting a ticket to Disneyland and a ticket to DisneySea. The difference between the Fantasy Springs pass and a regular DisneySea ticket is that you get unlimited access to the Fantasy Springs area and the rides in the area. You can even leave the area and return. With a regular ticket to DisneySea you cannot enter the Fantasy Springs area at all for now, even though it’s inside the park, because it is so new and they’re limiting access to it. The only way to enter Fantasy Springs would be to get a standby (free) or premier (paid) pass once you’re inside DisneySea. Those passes run out fast, are for one ride only, you can only get one at a time, and once you leave Fantasy Springs you cannot re-enter.
This video was SO HELPFUL!!! Thank you so much for the detailed breakdown. I'm planning our first trip and this answered a lot of my questions. Time to watch more of your Japan videos to help me make a hotel decision! 😁
@@claytonica23 How fun, your first trip! I'm glad the video was helpful. I will be releasing another video soon about planning a trip with the goal of visiting the Tokyo Disney parks. Hopefully you'll find more tips there as well.
If i book the vacation package would i still have to buy the one day pass or is it included in the package? And what about check in and check out times, is it normal hotel hours or am i allowed to stay longer on the second day?
Hi! With this Fantasy Springs vacation package, the one day Fantasy Springs Magic pass is included and you can use it on the day specified (the day designated for DisneySea) since the area is inside the DisneySea park. The onsite hotels checkin time is 3 pm and checkout time is noon (12 pm). If you want to stay at the hotel longer, you can probably ask the hotel to see if they offer late checkout, but if you're just going to the park, you can leave your luggage at the hotel bell desk on your checkout day, go to the park, and then return to retrieve your luggage later on. They will absolutely do that! There are also coin lockers at the monorail stations that can fit large luggage if you rather do that. They're about 700-800 yen.
@litacurran4348 The drink voucher is for unlimited drinks during the 2 days of the package at both parks. There are some limitations on the type of drinks you can get, the locations where you can get the drinks, and a time frame you might have to wait between drinks, but all those details will be included in the vacation package documents. They recently expanded the selection of drinks too so that is a plus.
Depending on what month you're going in 2025 the vacation packages will vary. These Fantasy Springs packages are good until March 2025 and you can book them already for any date up to March 2025. Tokyo Disney released new packages for April 2025 earlier this month and packages for May have not been announced yet. Looks like they're announcing them about 5 months in advance, so most likely packages for the month of May 2025 will be announced early December and so on. So, once you know what date you plan to visit, start looking at their website for packages. For the last release, they became available at 3pm Japan time, so you'll have to convert that to your local time.
great vid and useful. question on the rides in fantasy spring, is there a normal standy queue and a DPA queue for each ride? i notice you can buy dpa for peter pan, frozen and rapunzel but there isnt a DPA for tinkerbell? my undersatnd is that the vacation package will allow you to use the DPA line but since there isnt one for tinkerbell, you will have to queue up like the rest of the crowd who gets a standby pass? also separately, wanted to ask if i cannot find a reservation slot at the fantasy springs restaurants, could i walk in? or simply its not available and i will have to dine elsewhere? thanks a lot!
Yes, there is a standby queue and a priority (DPA) queue for each ride in Fantasy Springs, except for Tinker Bell, which only has a standby queue. The Fantasy Springs passport included in the Vacation Package allows you to ride Peter Pan, Rapunzel, and Frozen through the priority queue and Tinker Bell through the standby queue, but no worries since access to Fantasy Springs is restricted and the standby line for Tinker Bell was about 5-15 minutes at the most. If you're talking about the restaurant at the Fantasy Springs Hotel, I would say that your chances of dining there are very slim if you don't have a reservation or staying at the hotel since you cannot venture into the hotel unless you're staying there. But if you're talking about the restaurants in the Fantasy Springs area, no need to worry since those do not take reservations. The restaurants in the area are quick service and you can even use mobile order, which might be required at busy times. We were able to eat at 2 of the Fantasy Springs restaurants without problems. We didn't try to eat at the one in Frozen, only went in for drinks, but that one seemed to have a little more of a wait time.
Hey i am from India,if i book tickets from this site by sitting in India then where will i able to get the physical ticket to enter in tokyo Disney land?
@@Drk12-yt Hello! When you book the vacation package through Tokyo Disney that includes the hotel stay and park tickets, you will receive a confirmation email when you book. When you get to the hotel on your check-in day, they will give you a folder with all of your tickets printed out.
@ The Fantasy Springs Magic 1-day passport included gets you unlimited rides to all the attractions in FS on the specific day (usually it’s day 2, the day at DisneySea), so you can ride Rapunzel as many times as you want. The package usually says Disneyland on day1 and DisneySea on day 2, so check first, you can only ride FS on the DisneySea day, but yes there’s no limit on how many times.
