Giving is taking the focus off ourselves and putting it onto someone or something else. Giving becomes a tangible way we can express concern and love to other people.
God gives us wealth so we can be generous
For the bible says in Proverbs 11:24 that
One man gives freely, yet gains even more; another withholds unduly, but comes to poverty.
Although everyone is called to be generous, you should be especially so if you are wealthy. Do not be embarrassed by your wealth, but remember it is not your money. Use it to bless others.
Generosity makes our world a better place. It improves the life of the receiver. And it improves the life of the giver. Yet, despite the benefits, generosity is still too rare in our world today.
