you, my friend are just awesome. you give so much info about cars that i didnt know about! you show me more hot wheels models, the tracks, collections, errors, and other stuff! keep it up! dont stop!
Yes, Short cards appear in Toys R US and Walmart from time to time. We don't have Shop Rite in California so I will take your word that the shorties are there too =)
A few years ago, Matchbox would release different models for the ROW (Rest Of World). That is because it didn't make sense for them to get some of the big SUV models or other vehicles that don't sell well. Nowadays, they get the same assortment as we do in the USA.
For the 2013 releases, the Treasure Hunt is designated by the circle-flame logo. I think that so far, all of the placements have been on the side of the model, not on the top. You might find cars from other years that used the same logo and it might be anywhere but those are not considered Treasure Hunts. You can get more information by searching for my SWAT 2013 Treasure Hunt presentation. I will post a comment over there right now and it will appear in my TH-cam Feed.
Hi, I,m Ayrina Aini from Malaysia. I,m a beginner in collecting Hot Wheel cars. But now I have collected musle cars and some pickup trucks. Nice to get these boxes. Very thrilling.
Great idea to compare the two cases! The Short card cases we get in Europe are different to the cases you've shown as we get regular T-hunts a case early (the Bread Box was in the 2012 P case), the batman segment hasn't shown up on short card either. Long cards tend to be found on the clipper strips in the cereal and sweet aisle and the euro cars have the team hot wheels promotion, but with a different team driver on each card.
U do my favorite video I work all night to so I sleep till 2 or 3 pm but I like waking up and seeing a new video from u thanks for all the info. P.s. better luck on the next case watch ill get a super
Only certain 2013 release with the circle-flame logo are Treasure Hunts. Search TH-cam for SWAT TREASURE HUNT to see how the logo has been used for over 5 years already. As for your car being from 1998, if you're looking at the date on the base of the model, that is the copyright date and not necessarily the year that it was produced.
K cases are showing up a Walmart. I just seen them last night =) I don't see any of my extra cars. They get used in future videos or donated to charity.
Matchbox cases are wacky too just like your HW short card cases. I would love to do a short-card UK unboxing but shipping charges and the currency conversion are probably cost prohibitive.
I don't know if you knew this but you can put lego figures on the fig rig! The new for 2013 casting in this case. Look on the back of the card and you can have up to 3 figures on the car. They even have the holes for the figures to stand on in a couple spots. One in the bed and the other on the hood. Then one figure can hold on with its hands on the fin on the bed of the truck!
I wonder if somebody returned a bunch of old cars and the store just didn't have peg space for them. It is highly unlikely that inventory has been sitting around for ten years.
They are classified as 1/64 scale but really, they are 3" models. You won't find the scale anywhere on the packages or models. Matchbox on the other hand, do print the scale on the bases if it is a licensed model (real vehicle).
I will do a double-unboxing again in a few months. I will do it differently because this vid started to stall and get confusing about 1/3 of the way through it. Next time, I will take out all of the cars, lay them on the table, get them organized, and then do a narrative. I will speed up the footage before the narrative to make it less time-wasting for the viewer - Thanks!
Nice idea even tho a total mess of the cars. That first Bad Ratitude was pretty neat. I like the deco with the cat. I always suspected Ratitude was like a rat. Much better than Ratmobile. Love cars with long snouts. Loving the Phastasm, Gov'ner, Shoe Box, Passion and that gold chrome Hammerdown. Still none in my collection.
Awesome!! Can't wait to find the K case cars. Mark what do you do with the extra cars you don't need. I sell mine at the flea market for a dollar and buy more. Hahaha PJ
I heard that not a lot of k-cases got a t-hunt in them. The T-Hunt was the Dodge Challenger Drift and the $uper was the Ford Ranchero. Hope you can find them soon so you can show us how it looks..... LOOSE :D
Why no love for 5-Alarm? My childhood favorites were Rescue Ranger, Fire Eater, Letter Getter, and The Sheriff Car. 5-Alarm is a progression. Favorite? Not really. But I like it from a progression standpoint.
@TheNerflover787 Nitrous is actually abbreviated Nos, pronounced nauce (sauce with an "n"). Racegrooves. The defender car was previously army patrol right? If so I noticed their was no gun on the top.
I want at lease a few colors of each model. I don't have to have every color of every model. I don't buy every 5-pack. I don't buy a lot of the adult collectibles.
hey man love the vid..my nephew is a hot wheel collector and im a monster jam collector..so how or where do u get those boxes ...and ps I got a monster jam truck that says 2002 on it and I got it two weeks ago ...thanks for the vid
Yesterday I opend a j case and didnt find any TH or SUPER TH...I didnt see any in this case opening video. I thought each case had at least 1 basic TH...?
Just started watching your vids yesterday. My son is 2yr 3 mo & I started his collection about a year ago. Question tho: doesn't it bother you to get doubles and triples in the cases? In this situation you got 2 completely different cases and got almost the same cars in both. That would bother me. On the bright side, watching these have discouraged me from buying the cases due to that fact. Fun to watch you open them tho.
+John Valentine These cases are for retail distribution and as you noticed, aren't packed for collectors. It doesn't bother me because I understand why they are packed that way. 1. It keeps costs down because Mattel can produce multiples and theoretically, have a lower cost-per-unit. 2. I like to buy multiples so it gives me an opportunity to get extras if it's a model I desire. 3. For those who don't buy multiples, that means that the extras can be found by more collectors/consumers. Thanks for watching and make sure to let your son play with the cars =)
+RaceGrooves Gotcha. Makes sense. They sell these retail boxes on amazon. We started his collection in February of 2015 and at the time I wasn't aware of company release dates on the cases or sets. My local stores were all still selling 2014's and within a couple months I was going nuts because I couldn't find them anymore - which is why I considered buying the retail boxes. I eventually learned to live with the fact I'd never get him a complete set and moved on to 2015's and lately even the 16's. Don't worry, he plays with the cars...he has 162 last count...but I do stash away certain ones too; mostly the separate sets of 6 or 8 like the Porsche, Tom & Jerry, Marvel Pop Culture etc. I will keep watching ya!
UK cards hardly get anything, not even the bar scan thigy for your i phone, i serpose shorter cards take up less paper, plus its nice to see what new models there are thanks to you also bike's an error! =O i love that ponitac!!!! amor truck no longer has opening door? me sad, great boxes
Interesting change on the usual case videos. The Toyota pickup looks good, reminds me of Marty's from the BTTF movies. Random note, my local Walmart seems to put up some really old stock in some plastic bins (not dump bins, but used like them) all the way back to 2003! Even managed to find a first editions Veyron in one of the bins! Guess it's just the store emptying out left over stuff?
A you should get the Acura nsx concept 2012 and u should also get the Farri and Lamborghini and porsh mix box and u should get the Austin Martin one mixed with Lamborghini and regular text back
you, my friend are just awesome. you give so much info about cars that i didnt know about! you show me more hot wheels models, the tracks, collections, errors, and other stuff! keep it up! dont stop!
Congraulations on being the 1st to do a double unboxing on TH-cam! Keep up the great work!
Thanks for the thumbs up!

Thanks! I appreciate the community that has helped make the channel what it is! =)
I wish you the best in your hunting! K cases should be available at most retailers very soon.
i like the honda s2000 and the toyota supra good job on the videos keep it up!
Hey thanks Mark. I cant wait for the K case. A couple of my faves are the 87 Toyota and the Purple Passion.
Thank you! Yes, I enjoy all bases. New cars, old cars. Track Sets, playsets, new and old. Toy car entertainment =)
Its fun to watch old unboxing videos and see what you can possibly search amazon and ebay for
Yes. It is strange how some countries get different card sizes.

Yes, there are repeats in all cases.
Yes, there are some really nice cars in those mixes!
Thanks! It was a good time for me to do it =)

I liked the double unboxing, and no t-hunts in either box....hum.
Keep up the great work, enjoy watching your videos.
I don't recall seeing the Bat Copter hanging on the pegs. It must be popular and people are buying it up!
Yes, 3befreaky1 noticed that one didn't have tampos. I have to go back and check!
I decided to do a feature video on Bad Ratitude and that video will be live on Tuesday. Thanks for taking the time to comment!
I will go back and check the tampo - Thanks!
K cases are showing up a Walmart. I just seen them last night =)
I don't see any of my extra cars. They get used in future videos or donated to charity.
Yes, I like Tomica but very few models are sold in the USA. Toys R US has a limited selection.
Yes, I have a video planned - Thanks!
No, we can't order directly from the factory. Maybe Walmart can since they get thousands of cases a month.
Interesting seeing the variety between US and worldwide assortments.
I keep the cardbacks for future mail in offers.
Matchbox cases are wacky too just like your HW short card cases. I would love to do a short-card UK unboxing but shipping charges and the currency conversion are probably cost prohibitive.
I wonder how long it will take for Bad To The Blade to appear in the regular single package.
I don't know if you knew this but you can put lego figures on the fig rig! The new for 2013 casting in this case. Look on the back of the card and you can have up to 3 figures on the car. They even have the holes for the figures to stand on in a couple spots. One in the bed and the other on the hood. Then one figure can hold on with its hands on the fin on the bed of the truck!
awesome armored truck what a great case!

I thought that was rather strange as well. They have all that room in the corner, put SOMETHING up there LOL!
I don't keep track of how much I spend but I did give 500 cars to charity last Christmas.
We can get long cards in the UK. We find them at Poundland where most of them are either errors or treasure hunts
awsome video Mark it was awsome
Plenty of sweet cats in here my favourite is definitely the fast and the furious charger
Thanks for watching!
D'oh! Thanks =)
In UK we do get Long Cards - BUT not in cases - we get them on plastic hangers that hang from the shelves - that's the only way we get them.
About $190.00 USD with tax and shipping.
yup the first street nos you pulled out was naked. it was missing the flame tampo. awesome error.
In Belgium we get the 2 sizes of cards.
thanks for the nice video. ;)
If the UPC is still in the system, they can still be returned.
ENJOYED the 2fer!!!
Great video. I love those cars. I doesn't saw those in Malaysia...
Cases cost around $95 with tax and shipping. I do not promote any online dealers.
@racegrooves The Street NOZ is not na-z it is street nitrous. NOZ is the abbreviation for nitrous a fuel booster used in racing.
The trextroyer in 13:13 the worldwide one's package art looks shinier
Awesome!! Can't wait to find the K case cars. Mark what do you do with the extra cars you don't need. I sell mine at the flea market for a dollar and buy more. Hahaha PJ

Also not sure if you noticed but your first Street Noz was a tampoless error.
Why no love for 5-Alarm? My childhood favorites were Rescue Ranger, Fire Eater, Letter Getter, and The Sheriff Car. 5-Alarm is a progression. Favorite? Not really. But I like it from a progression standpoint.
im in trouble now!in uk the next cases we are gunna are j,k and l!the 3 best cases so far!
True, that's odd that someone could still return something from 10 years ago.
love this case lots of licensed castings
Very cool vid Mark!! I guess Star Trek Enterprise isn't carrying over into any cases so far :(
@TheNerflover787 Nitrous is actually abbreviated Nos, pronounced nauce (sauce with an "n"). Racegrooves. The defender car was previously army patrol right? If so I noticed their was no gun on the top.
I posted a comparison pic of the Error and the proper release on my Instagram and Facebook pages - Thanks!
in Holland some stores have long cards, others have short cards
I have got the lamborghini gallardo superleggera 50° anniversary. It is an incredible car with a very nice paint
I want at lease a few colors of each model. I don't have to have every color of every model. I don't buy every 5-pack. I don't buy a lot of the adult collectibles.
Any word on those 2013 Sun Burnerz? I see them on eBay, but nothing in the store.
Sorry, I do not trade basic cars.
excellent video again and how much are the boxes
Do you keep the card of the cars you unbox?
New OR5 wheels for the blue Jeep Scrambler instead of the OR6 wheels from before.

England does get tall pack things. I got at least 5 at Tesco.
Nope. Treasure Hunts are not in every case.
great video
Under $100 each with tax and shipping.
The enforcer came out in 2010 or 2011 mainline
Bad ratitude kinda looks like a mix between fast cash and boneshaker and a little bit like el superfasto
What I don't get is why do we the small cards but have to put more stuff on it, I should of been the other way round
A you should get the Acura nsx concept 2012 and u should also get the Farri and Lamborghini and porsh mix box and u should get the Austin Martin one mixed with Lamborghini and regular text back
