Friend has Mars in 7th in Libra conj Dsc. From what I can see, he doesn't like aggressive people. It could be because of his Mars/Moon square affliction? I think loud/aggressive people aggravate him.
But he is very much about championing the rights of others. And he likes to workout too. So I guess in his case, he "owned" the 7th house attributes?

I work out a lot and I like for my romantic partners to be very independent. I also have sag chiron/pluto in this house, so it does affect me a lot. Does he have an aries rising? That’s very complementary to his 7th house mars. Also is he a capricorn or cancer moon? Usually water moon will soften it out a bit, I have pisces moon.

I feel like he is very defensive when it comes to intimate relationships. Not easily impressed by Partners. And they struggle to break through that high wall. And when they do, they struggle to be keep his walls down.
I asked him if he wants to be single for the rest of his life? And his response is that it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world to happen. So maybe he really does not care for romance or partnerships of that sort long-term?🤷🏿♂️
