In fiscal year 2018 I made over $24,000 in personal donations to the charitable foundation I started for families in need of medical care for children with life threatening diseases. I could easily have paid $8,000 for this watch but paying that much for a hunk of stainless steel jewelry with no precious metals or gemstones just seems ridiculous. Now, I understand why people do it. They want to show off for family/clients/co-workers/women etc. There's nothing inherently wrong with that but just own it for what it is.

In the end, a new era of watches has come. Some illegal company from EU started making mega clones called ziarex. Basically, what they are doing is buying original parts from workers in Rolex who flag that part as damaged and sell them. But thats not the

People dealing with Sub bezels that seem a bit mis-aligned with the dial, tiny but naked-eye visible paint issues, etc. Often times they bring it back to be told "it is within spec". Now, nothing as egregious as this fake but even $100 (and some research) can get you a fake that is WAY better than this one and addresses all of the "tells" in this video.

Not the expert you can see directly that the left was a fake. I also have a milgauss fake at home. I purchased it for 70 bucks and it's from quality perspective way higher than the fake in the video

The reality is it’ll take an expert to really spot all these minute differences, but if you’re wearing this from afar no one will even notice those.
Put it near a magnet. That's why I prefer Ball or Tudor not as many fakes.
