Well played both teams especially Pathana. But SLSRFU (Sri Lanka schools rugby union) is cunning and corrupt. Need to take legal action against them and expose them for destroying Sri Lanka rugby. They need to be cleaned up. 1, They made the school rugby games in Sri Lanka 70 minutes under the title U19, instead of 80 minutes under the title U20 , which gives the advantage to certain Colombo schools - Kandy school players naturally have stamina and endurance because of high altitude in Kandy playing for 80 minutes puts certain Colombo schools in disadvantage and 70 minute rule is going to lower the rugby standards in Sri Lanka when playing against international teams. 2. Schools rugby union no longer wants the best traditional teams like St Peters, Royal, St Thomas, St Josephs, Isipthana & Trinity to play against one another., Instead they want the top 2 teams of each group to play one another. This is going to lower the rugby standards in Sri Lanka. You cannot call a team league champions when all experienced teams don't play one another. 3. Also on video it is easy to pick bias refereeing favoring the teams of the top dogs who works for Sri Lanka schools rugby union. Find out who are the bosses of the Sri Lanka schools rugby union. That will give you the answer. I'm not saying referees are bad. Referees are certainly influenced to an extent by the schools rugby authorities.
Your 1st point is baseless. For example Kingswood only beat Isipathana for the first time in history in 2003 (thanks to Shamlath Fernando's shocking refereeing) and St. Anthony's did it only in 2001. And I don't think other Kandy schools have faired any better except probably Trinity, so whether it's 70 min or 80 min didn't really matter. But as you said at international level it could affect the youngsters since U20 international matches are played for 80 min.
Completely not agreed with the Coating Staff of Isipathana during last 10 15 Min. Replacing most of star players and let new players to enter the Game were not went for Good.
The match was in the bag. It was good to give the bench some game experience. We need them to have that experience especially against tougher teams like Peters and Royal.
@@ShaadHamid but they changed it suddenly and new players were completely messed with the whole game. they should have done it better earlier without stayed in last few minutes. the confident of bench players might get lost after had many errors.

I am totally with your point 2 and 3, though doubts the 1st. Need to check the IRB rule on age groups.
