- This is relevant information before you buy the Anbernic RG35XX H for $80...It's pretty good when it comes to playing NDS and PSP games! It's small, portable, and can even handle games from the Game Boy Advance and Nintendo games.

I've been calling them Holo Stands, once my website is ready I'll start putting them there for sale and also the .STL files for 3d printing at home.
I really like this device. It's the most comfortable small handheld I own. It replaced my Miyoo Mini as the handheld that goes in my pocket all the time.
Same it's just a bit better for longer game times
If I had to choose between getting the RG35XX H or the Miyoo Mini Plus, what do you recommend I get?

I got the miyoo mini and it's super cute, but it's super uncomfortable to play with anything that use triggers. Like some GBA and most PS1 games. An horizontal device is probably the best for me.
Yeah. The Miyoo mini is available in my country. If i order today its here tommorow. But im hesitating. The only reason i would buy it is because its quite stealthy 😃
not this one. triggers are less comfortable to use than the vertical rg35xx Plus. Avoid squares and rectangles at all costs. Your best bet is probably to just hack CFW onto a Switch Lite.

Number 1 thing I can say about this little guy: the screen size and resolution means those old 8 and 16 bit games look GREAT. Haven't even been tempted to apply any shaders.

MHFU uses dpad for camera, not the shoulders. But yeah, having the 2nd analog stick is an easy rebind and a better MHFU/P3G experience. Also not the first Monster Hunter, but definitely a lot of Hunters' first Monster Hunter. MHFU is the Grank/Master Rank version of the 2nd gen portable. :)
Great vid by the way... I have a retroid pocket 3+ and a steam deck, but um picking this up for its size and 4:3 aspect ratio.

Question : first I would like to buy the RG35xxplus because I prefer vertical devices. But I'm 1.96m and I have proportionally (big) hands. So I was afraid it is too short for me (too much discomfort with time). But I thought it will be better in horizontal... In your opinion comfort is improving with the rg35xxH? Thanks a lot!

I just get my rg35xx H yesterday. It was marvelous at first all about the console is good... till i remove the sd card (for checking i guess) and put them back on. And after that only anbernic logo appeared. I think it just a small error therefore i check the internet if i can fix it .and then i found out about the hard way of fixing it... advice for those who want this console.. please do a little search about this first tho❤
It's not that hard, is just paste a folder on a program to flash a SD card. It looks hard, but is actually pretty easy, just follow a guide and you're cool
Same for me except I did not even touch the SD card. All these TH-camrs are avoiding this topic because they make money on advertising this piece of crap.
@@grim0sThe hardware is excellent for the price, it's the stock SD cards they come with that are notoriously bad. If you're interested in owning one and want to upload your own collection of roms, you may as well look into flashing an OS to an SD card (SanDisk or Samsung are the safest bets) yourself. It's easy and it's actually pretty rewarding.

I didnt know you could use a right joystick for PSP games... I am about to go replay my whole PSP library now. Especially the prince of persias.

@@calebwooldridge242 I thought this meant you could map combinations such L1 + a direction on the analog stick for games that let you hold L1 to pan the camera like the prince of persia series, but it does not.
You can map one button the a combination, but you can't press one button or direction on the joypad to represent a combination.
This only works if your game uses the face buttons for camera so you just map the face buttons to the right analog stick.
Some games like mgs po and pw have cheats that maps the camera to right analog on ppsspp and vita.

I have a ton of modded devices that can do everything this console can do and more. However, they are prized possessions and I would feel more comfortable taking this with me as a go to/day to day device that I don't have to worry about breaking. Playing PSP with 2 analog sticks would be nice too.
I just wish there was an easier way to update the software . Tried the alpha for koriki or whatever which worked well except the WiFi and the function button not working . Wish anbernic made a more informative easier way of updating the console.

Perhaps the best device for almost all PSP titles?
I also have big hands, and I find my old 351P quite uncomfortable to play for longer than 20 minutes. How would you compare them regarding size and comfort? I mean, my hands really start to hurt after 30 minutes of playing the 351P, and if I play it many days in a row, it starts hurting even when I'm not playing at all. It actually makes me play waaay less than I wanted to. I'm considering the RG35XX H over the regular vertical version only because of the analog sticks, but my problems with its predecessor make me uncertain about it.

Yes I put Batocera and it is an amazing machine
Make sure you either copy the data from the stock sd card and onto a new one or take it out in between charging. My sd card got corrupt in-between charging the system.
I had mine for less than 2 weeks, and now it's just a paper weight.

I feel like people think they made an original concept, its flipping the Gameboy, And then the Gameboy Advanced.
The only bad part of this is that it's got a 3:2 screen so psp is super small on this thing

I'd buy this if it had 6 action buttons like RG ARC-S/D, same Sega D-Pad as RG ARC, same CPU as RG ARC, no joysticks but front-facing dual speakers of very good quality and 4 inch screen while remaining the same form factor and price
Just purchased an H.. by the way..love the stands.. make them available to buy! One question though.. RP4 Pro or RG556? Be honest..
I prefer the rg556. Looks more comfirtable to hold and the analog stick layout is better

isn't the screen 4:3 not 3:2? 3:2 would be the slightly wider but not widescreen 16:9 display of the GBA.
Can you trade pokemon with these devices with other players? A friend of mine and I miss playing Fire Red and Leaf Green, and I haven't found a solid answer to this.

yes I noticed that too, they are probably the same panel but next to others you can see a slight difference. In person playing it I didn't notice until I put them side by side.

Zero Mission, played through it about a week ago. It was my second Metroid game after getting Prime Remastered about a week prior to that. Loving them so far.

id buy one but i always see a lot of people moaning they stop working after a few weeks/months, so i think ill spend the extra money and get a ps vita or a "new" 3ds XL and mod them as they both play upto ps1 very well and it wont just randomly stop working like these Chinese devices

These handhelds play many, many different gaming systems: NES, SNES, Mega Drive, arcade, Lynx, PC Engine, DOS, PlayStation, etc. etc.... so yes, there's many sports games.

Probably depends on the game. Don't think playing something like the kirby rainbow game would be ideal without a proper touchscreen but for games that use more sparingly could be fine.
