Those commissioners dont care if you loose your home.
The bank will resell it, then it will be at a higher rax rate. So its a win win for the counties coffers.

Who is the biggest employer in Charlotte County? Charlotte County...they employ more people than any business. Who is robbing the taxpayers? Charlotte County...Fire and EMS services are being taxed as a "special assessment" so their is NO CAP to what they can tax citizens. Other property taxes are capped by State Law--included Law Enforcement...so WHY if Fire and EMS getting a blank check????? County, by law, can only increase the tax rate by 3% a year (10% for non-homestead)...why is Fire and EMS getting 6%???? Just bend over a bit more cuz here it comes again.
