Hmmm… don’t know. It’s so massively STARK! Like a set from DUNE. I’d prefer all that expanse of chemically enhanced water to be lush gardens. And the cranky butler? That would obsess me for the rest of my stay.
I lived in that property when it was on Inspirato for almost 2 months. There are some good restaurants across the street and the gym facilities are awesome!
I’ve heard about this resort for a while but I don’t think it’s among the best in the area. Personally, for the price, I think the Waldorf Astoria is the best in Cabo. But it’s all personal choice. Thanks for another detailed video. 😀
Great video, Kevin. Genuinely curious about how you determine the decimal parts of your food ratings. The x.4/10 or x.7/10 etc. Is it slightly tongue-in-cheek or is there some science to the decimals?
Cool looking place. Not sure it’s my vibe. Seems like it’s great for the Instagram crowd though. Which is probably smart given the times. Really liked the shot of the Mexican Air Force skimming the waves.
Good reminder to never vacation in this part of Mexico. I live at the beach in the East Coast US. Not being able to swim in the ocean is a deal-breaker.
I’m not saying anyone should do this, but if you happened to move to this property after a stay at the hyatt down the road and still have your all inclusive bracelet on, you could walk back and forth between the properties on the beach.
Personally I think this hotel is over designed, it feels soulless and massive. It just lacks a “je ne sais quois…” 🤷🏻♀️ Could it be personality? I think I would be annoyed with the layout quickly, but that’s just me. Thank for the as always, high quality review 🙏🏼 PS. I just noticed the next five videos has been removed again 😅
I think I can shed some light on the reason they said they aren't connected to the Viceroy in Bali. This resort is owned by a very wealthy Mexican family who happen to be the owners of the airports in Cancun and Cozumel. They've signed a contract with Viceroy which allows them to use their brand. Personally, I think the resort looks like a collection of white boxes surrounded by blue, very bland aesthetically speaking, sort of reminds me of Le Blanc in Cancun. Some people do appreciate it though. However it looks lovely at night. I'd be careful with this resorts the owners are known for being stingy so unless Viceroy truly enforces their standards they'll be looking for corners to cut so do check out recent reviews before booking it. Besides, I'd agree the value isn't there for an EP resort.
Without the pools I see a Soviet era apartment complex on the outskirts of Moscow. lol
and breakfast looks like what they would serve in the local tractor collative canteen
@@bruceanderson8588 LMAO
Can’t unsee the communist block now.
The camera shot following the birds surfing the waves into the sun rise was AAA cinematography!
Thanks for another great review. Wow, is that pricey!!
That’s Cabo for ya!
That sunrise shot with the birds and the wave? Literally Nat Geo and that wave was straight from hokasai

A very wet dune 😂 But yeah, it’s certainly a specific look! Thanks for the support 🙏🏻
@@tfft The hotel was prominently used as a set location in Season 4 of the HBO series Westworld, with green-screen modifications!

Keep up the good work man!!🎉🎉🎉 the hotel looks awesome 🤩
Thanks very much 🙏🏻
looks great!
Breathtaking. Hi Kevin🖐🏼🖐🏼
Great review
Thanks very much 🙏🏻
Stylish while sweaty - I’m dying.

The suite might be worth $800 USD per night, but not sure the regular ones are 😅. Nice hotel though 🎉
“Looks like it was meant for a white party” - was that written before the latest Diddy revelations 😂?
Such a pity about the sea being unsafe for swimming. Someone really needs to speak to the local council 😂

Ah, not on purpose. This was a member video before today and I’m not home so it got posted a day late and perhaps, on the fly lol.

Do you speak Spanish, kev?
It feels like you held back a little...
650usd and no breakfast!? Nope.
While I respect the design aesthetic it just leaves me cold. It's as if the designers favoured Instagramability over being comfortable for humans.
