the issues im having with mine is every time i try to mess with my contact voice mail and answering incoming call it don't have a answer bottom our won't work with the contact or even pull up my voice mail as well
That sounds like a software issue. You can take a chance and factory reset it (back up first to your google account) and see if that helps the phone work correctly. Otherwise understand that the Vortex phones are super budget phones and not built for quality. Good luck.

I don't know 100%. It seems like Pay is available - you have to dl from the Play Store. And I am not certain on the tap function. Maybe another viewer will know for certain.

I bought mine on eBay. It is not a great phone - if you can spend a little more money, buy a used Samsung or iPhone. This is a BUDGET BUDGET phone - where they took all sorts of shortcuts to make it really really cheap - but if all you need is a phone to make a call and don't need speed or reliability - then this should work. For budget phones, I appreciate that Vortex provides a case and a shield right out of the box. Both are adequate for basic calling and use. If you are going to do a lot of pic/vid - I am not happy with the quality of the Vortex phone's cameras. (I use my phone a ton for vid / pics so I would choose BLU 4). It looks like you've got a handle on what you need and you'll make a good decision. Best to you!
I have the Vortex HD 65 but not the Select. What’s the difference? I dont like this phone and everyone who has it had a hard time opening it up. I figured it out and everyone was so grateful when I posted on a review of the phone. . Yes the camera on mine sucks too. I use my phone more for the camera then calling. I got it when I signed up for the Lifeline govt program.
I don't have a plus. It is going to be the same budget quality as the rest of the vortex line. Some people are grateful to get a low- cost / no-cost phone. Some people hate the vortex.
